Play as legendary heroes from the greatest made-in-Ankama creations and have them fight each other in a game combining fast action, fighting and fun! You don't need to be an experienced player! Newbies and experts alike can take part in the battles between emblematic characters with diverse looks and styles thanks to game mechanics designed for everyone!

Psst… There are even rumors that the gods have joined the party…

As good news never comes alone, we can finally announce it:

Patch 0.8 is now playable, and with it a host of new features. Here's an outline of what you'll discover in the last Early Access patch:

- A new expedition mode zone: The Fungal Cavern
- Global rebalancing of the game (maximum level readjusted to 25, changes in the behavior of certain enemies, unlocking of expeditions after the Spectral Wood...)
- New NPCs in Kardia village (we'll let you discover them) 
- Narrative advances and new cinematics (which currently stop just after the Royal Necropolis)

Wait, did you just say "the last patch"? 

That's right! As announced on the official discord[discord.gg], the next step is the final release! So we're getting ever closer to the end of the One More Gate adventure (not without emotion). 
You'll know more very soon - we promise - but we'd already like to thank all the people who have supported us since the start of the project, those who have helped us improve the game, those who have given us feedback (and continue to do so)...

Many of you asked for it, and now the team has delivered: Expedition mode is finally on its way! On the menu for this patch: new environments, new challenges and a whole new way to play! Yeah, it's kind of a big deal.

Expedition Mode for Ninnies

After pulverizing more gobballs, plisskens and chafers than you can count, you finally feel ready to step through the zaap and open the door to a new challenge. And what a challenge it is!

In this game mode, you'll start with a deck of 7 cards drawn randomly in the form of a draft. More specifically, you'll be presented with a set of 5 cards from which you'll choose 3. You'll then see another set of 5 cards from which you'll pick 2, then repeat that step once more to bring you up to seven cards.

But beware: you'll need to have bought the card in classic mode to unlock it in expedition mode. If you haven't, the card will still be presented to you in the draft phase, but you won't be able to select it for inclusion in your expedition deck.

Once the draft phase is over, the battle can begin!
There will be four levels to progress through, two of which are completely exclusive:

Strawmerry Fields
Mountains
Cemetery
Crypts

The difficulty will increase from one level to the next, thanks to enemies with increasingly complex and aggressive mechanics. Every time you win a fight, you'll be asked to choose one of two new cards to add to your deck, along with some resource rewards (runes, kamas, etc.).

Ecaflip chests give you a way to obtain a new currency specific to expedition mode: tokens. They can be used with wandering merchants to buy or dispose of cards. There are no card upgrades in this mode!

If you die, you'll still earn kamas and XP based on your progress in the expedition. Your cards and tokens will be lost, however. If you start a new expedition, you'll have to start over from scratch!

Sounds awesome! But how do I unlock expedition mode?

You'll gain access to this new game mode after beating the boss of the cemetery level (Level 2) in the classic game mode. Easy-peasy!

Today we come to you with a nice news: The date of the next update ! And it's coming very soon since you will be able to enjoy it on February 2nd.

What's new in it?

A new game mode ! The well-named "expedition mode" is coming with great fanfare.
In this new extreme game system, your deck will be drawn "randomly". You'll gain a new card for every battle you win, and occasionally you'll be able to remove one in exchange of few tokens collected during your expedition. Needless to say : the more you will progress on the map, the more the power of your enemies will increase. You will have to overcome all 4 levels to win the expedition. If you die, you will still earn some kamas & experience. On the other hand, your cards and tokens will not be kept and each expedition will have to be redone from 0 !

Small precision: To unlock this new game mode, you will have to defeat the level 2 boss in the classic mode !

Did you just say 4 levels ?

Yes, 2 new environments will also appear in this game mode: The mountains and the crypts !

Something else we should know about this update ?
YES. We are super happy to announce that Spanish language will be integrated ! If you are part of our spanish community, we guess it's a very good news !

It's been almost two months since an early access version of One More Gate launched! The launch has allowed us to get tons of feedback from players, and we're very grateful for how much the community helps us every day. Because of this, we've been able to identify players' wants and needs. After several hours of reflection, we made the decision to change our development priorities, as you can see in the new roadmap below:

We view this update as very significant, as saves will be reset. This is a big decision, but it's also unavoidable given the huge gameplay changes to come in the near future. Rest assured: This will be the only time we'll have to reset your saves during early access. C

Without further ado, here is a list of updated content you'll see in the game starting December 15:

- Following a community-wide poll, a new divine statue will be introduced: the statue of Ecaflip!
- Revamped divine cards: these can now be reused in each fight.
- Revamped equipment items: these are now consumables that can be used during combat. They have a cooldown and will add flexibility to your decks.
- Elite chafer monsters will be added.
- The 2 dungeon quest will be added.
- The ability to get cards in dungeons will be added.
- Save slots will be added.
