Pirates vs. Ninjas Fest

Hey, everybody!

Long time no see.

We are taking part in the Pirates vs Ninjas fest, where you can try out our demo if you haven't tried it yet.
We will update the page soon with a new trailer and new screenshots.
There are tons of changes! We've updated the visuals, added additional quests and a lot of other little things

Now we are polishing the game and doing localization, so we won't have long to wait.

Greetings !

This is (hopefully) the last devlog before the game comes out.

It's about weapon upgrades for levels on the boat.

There will be 4 in total and each can be upgraded multiple times.

1. Rapid-fire gun
Fires multiple rounds in a row. At maximum level one of the shots will be enhanced.

2. Paired Pistols
Fires two powerful projectiles at once.

3. Blunderbuss
Fires multiple projectiles. More shells are fired as you upgrade.

4. Parrot Cage
Fires a homing mechanical parrot that flies at the nearest enemy. With upgrade, an explosion appears on contact with the enemy.

Hitting play instantly closes the game. I tried to redownload and issue is still present.

I really like the mechanics of the game, the Spike Boots, The Possessed form, and the Boat Traveling

But there's one thing that needs to be worked on, It's the Human Sprites, usually It looks a bit cheap, not to mention when using the spiked boots, the T-Posing thing is Awkward, maybe try working on the Main Character Sprites a bit more?

Demo Feedback

I just played the demo for a while and really enjoyed it! It reminded me a lot of being a kid playing a random Nintendo game I rented and knew nothing about, in the best way possible. While there wasn't anything I actively disliked about the game, there were a few things that I felt were speed bumps in my playthrough.
