Spellpowder: Uprising is an upcoming strategy RPG set in fantasy steampunk setting. Lead your squad to victory through wide streets, dark forests and cold snow lands. Level up, equip, promote your troops and lead them carefully (or not) in upcoming battles.

The wait is almost over!

Greetings,

Work on a Spellpowder: Uprising is coming to an end, so it's high time to set a release date. And that is year 2025. I know, I know it's somewhat vague, but since the game was started in 2020 even knowing years is great.

So what can you expect is this time?

Streaming - not sure Youtube or Twitch, but will be streaming more often, to show the game
Kickstarter? - might create a campaign to see how it works and goes, not 100% sure yet
Voice Acting audition - more info will be on Discord server some time later
Next Fest in 2025 with updated demo and new trailer

And game release of course, biggest event of them all. So stay tuned (mostly on Discord) and see you all later.

Neat demo

I messed around the demo a little bit and I have two suggestions: damage prediction (that is, an estimate of what the to-hit and damage is per attack), and movement undo (button to undo a movement that's already been enacted, cannot be used after attack). Seems interesting otherwise, were you planning on gamepad support?...

Spellpowder: Uprising will participate in Steam Strategy Fest with a NEW DEMO

Greetings Tacticians!

Steam Strategy Fest is in few days and what is a better way to celebrate it than with a new demo, eh? So starting from August 28th new demo will be available in Spellpowder steam page in which you will be able to create your own character and test how it would fare against challenges in first four chapters.

If you will be streaming or recording your playthrough, please share your experience in Spellpowder's Discord channel[discord.com]

Greetings future tacticians!

This Saturday, at 7PM GMT I will be live streaming Spellpowder:Uprising on https://www.twitch.tv/rogandir. You'll get a chance to see the game at current state. Will talk about things that changed from demo, play a few levels and showcase player hub area with it's features. There will be no cutscenes, so story will be kept to minimum.
