A beautiful, romantic, gothic, spooky, visual novel that tells the story of how the Fallen London setting originated. The actions are limited each day, so you really can't unlock the whole story in a single game, but it's better to focus on a single goal or relationship per playthrough. Then rinse and repeat, replays are very fun. There is no voice acting, but the music and sound effects are perfect. And the cast of characters is amazing; they have Jewish characters, nonbinary characters, bisexual hunks, and one Punjabi dude who criticizes the colonial nature of Britain <3 It's just...amazing. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to investigate and find out who murdered that man!
