Ninja Perk Revision
Initially, the Ninja perk reduced footstep volume with increasing rarity. However, we discovered that this made the perk less impactful and even useless for certain characters. Therefore, we decided to rework its functionality.

Common: Removes footstep sounds.
Rare: Removes footstep sounds and adds forward momentum while jumping.
Unique: Increases start movement speed by 0.5
Legendary: Reduces your Puppet's gravity by 0.3.

Greetings fellow Puppeteers!

We're thrilled to provide you with an update on our progress regarding the upcoming update. Currently, we're fully immersed in developing the new map, Underworld, inspired by Sutekh’s lair from Puppet Master 4 and 5. Our team has been rigorously play-testing the greybox version of the map to ensure it offers an enjoyable and balanced experience across all game modes and factions.

The Underworld stands as our largest map to date, offering a unique approach to battles that diverges from our previous maps. We're excited about the fresh strategies and much-needed variety it will bring to gameplay.

This map is distinctively split between two dimensions: the Underworld and a yet-to-be-announced second area referencing another Puppet Master film. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting addition!

As the Underworld is set in a different location from the Bodega Bay Inn, we've crafted new escape and door assets, along with a plethora of brand-new decorative props, including recognizable demonic statues from the films. We believe these additions will infuse the game with a refreshing aesthetic that we can't wait to share with you all.

Additionally, we're diligently working on implementing highly requested features, such as Full Controller Support, quality-of-life changes, and bug fixes, as we prepare to transition out of Steam Early Access. This transition will include the release of the new map, Underworld, and a new DLC skin pack.

We'll be able to provide a release date as we get closer to the launch, expected within the next month or so. We sincerely appreciate your patience and ongoing support. We're eagerly anticipating bringing you this exciting new update very soon.
