Has anyone been able to get this running on Linux? I’m consistently met with a memory error no matter which compatibility layer I use. Any pointers?

Other threads seem no help. I have a 3440x1440 screen. First I tried launch options on GOG and steam (-w 1920, etc.): game only starts in a tiny window and crashes. I thought, I can just change the resolution of my monitor in Windows to 1920X1080. But as soon as I start the game, the resolution changes back to 3440x1440. Any ideas?...

What Resolutions will be available?

I bought this game on GOG.com back when it became available, and just like when I first played it way back as a kid, I still couldn't figure out how to actually play it :O I think I had problems understanding how to make more money and how to hire more troops. I think I remember figuring out how to train troops, but I'd send them to fight, they would die, and then I wouldn't know how to continue from there. Anyone have some tips?...
