Oldie but a goodie.

7/10 Amazingly unique concept on first-person shooter games!

It's crazy to believe I found out about this game cause of a developer on Roblox recreating one of the world levels from this game. It became a popular recreation that tons of players would play on, did more research into it and found out it was based off an actual game, which lead me to picking this game up. lol

Normally, I don't play first-person shooter games (besides Splatoon). However the open-world city-scape appeal had me interested in trying this anyway.

A few down-sides I had with this, and most people will already guess what I'm gonna say here. The controls are... not good. I originally was going to play this with a controller, however since this game was made in 2009, support for controllers that aren't an XBOX controller is non-existent. Steam Input can somewhat make newer controllers work for this game, but camera/movement controls are very finicky, and it's basically converting keyboard controls to the controller, which isn't something I recommend people doing, as this results in sluggish controls. But even with keyboard/mouse controls, you'll find yourself falling to your death a bunch of times due to not pressing the right keys that get you up places. Depending on your GPU (well tbh anybody at this point), you may experience lag when in face with enemy's that spawn in the map. There is a few ways you can fix this, they involve you having to delete some files from the game directory. It's best for you to do research on your end for what will work best for your PC, as their's different methods that work for different kinds of setups.

If you've never played a first-person shooter game and are interested in playing this game for the open-world city aspect or the story, casual players may struggle with certain objectives. In my case, I had to lookup YouTube tutorials on particular levels in which I had no clue how to get from point A to B. And most levels will involve you either having to fight mobs of police officers that are at a constant gun-point towards you, or fight them with your fist/taking their gun and shooting the other cops. Luckily, this game has an easy mode, so a lot of these concerns should be more fair for your experience. Except for certain levels where you have to climb up stuff, that becomes a nightmare quick!
