We hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the winter season. ❤️

We wanted to give you a little update on where we’re at with our bug fixes and a little insight into the future of REKA. We know so many of you are eager to find out what’s coming next and we want to be as transparent as possible with what to expect.

As you know, we are working on the fixes for the Halloween update as well as general optimisation issues. The good news is that we’ve sorted the issues you were experiencing with The Witching Hour (including the Bludnik only giving mushrooms as rewards and the candle making table will be easier to use!).

Unfortunately, we can’t release this patch as soon as we’d hoped. We were aiming to release this patch by the end of the year, however while we were making all these fixes and improvements, we found a much bigger optimisation issue which we need to address before releasing any patches. Fixing this bigger issue will make future game updates much easier for us to implement, as well as improving the overall optimisation and health of REKA.

With this in mind, the next patch will be coming in January. We’re so sorry for any disappointment this causes, but please know we are working super hard to fix this. We are a small dev team so it takes a little longer for us to investigate issues and figure out how to fix things – but we’re so close to getting to the bottom of this now!

Your feedback has been so helpful to us since our launch into Early Access. Reading through all your comments and reviews has shown us what’s important to you and where we should be putting more content into REKA. We’ve decided to make changes to our roadmap to reflect features you’ve been requesting.

We’ll be able to share more with you in the new year, but we wanted to let you know about a feature we’re very excited about and currently working on…

In 2025 a big content update will be coming to REKA, and it will include gardening! Gardening is something that fits perfectly into the cozy vibes of our game and we can’t wait to see how creative you can be with it. 👨‍🌾✂️🌳
