Final test for students of the Mining and Metallurgy Academy in Norilsk, Russia.

This is a Lethal Company clone in a post-Soviet aesthetic. I liked it way more than the original because levels are bigger and more varied, you don't die as quickly and can resurrect each other. Also, despite the fact that any multiplayer game of this kind becomes a circus, the atmosphere is strong enough for me to actually care about the Gigakhrushch and its secrets. Will definitely play more!

Updating my review after the first hotfix! All in all, I'm already loving this game and I can't wait for content updates!

- I'm not sure if Samosbor rates were tweaked or if my group was just getting really unlucky when we played day one, but it no longer feels nearly as punishing now that it's not happening almost every floor. Much easier to gauge losses and appropriately prepare and rush back to the Kletka when it's not as often! Now it actually feels like a fun mechanic and not just a random way to kill off players!

- I still think that a way to keep track of things would be good but as I've played more and more with friends, learning organically is actually really fun and rewarding, especially since most hazards in the game won't insta-kill you or anything. I still want some way of being able to double-check, just in case I was to put the game down and need a refresher, but I think the game on its own is pretty good at making itself a "♥♥♥♥ around and find out" experience.

Also, singing a few more praises here in addendum to my original ones, but here are a few more highlights I have from spending more time in the game:
- This game somehow has perfect comedic timing for stupid and silly happenings. I don't know how the devs did it but this game somehow feels specifically engineered so that you die in stupid funny ways instead of frustrating ones.
- I have more fun as a ghost watching everyone than I have in other games *alive*. The pinging mechanic is also really fun and I like getting to interact even in a relatively simple way. My friends and I find ways to make it funny so this may not have the same shine to every group but it certainly does for mine.
- The gameplay loop is simple but so, SO, addictive. I play this game for several hours each play session and that's saying a lot because I often fall out of wanting to play other games in this sort of "genre" within an hour or so.


OLD REVIEW:
GREAT POTENTIAL! I'm really excited for this game and its progress!

However, a few things of note:
- Samosbor is just a tad bit too unforgiving, I think if you are in the Kletka, you should no longer take damage. This would increase the tension and excitement of close calls while not making it feel like the people who get to the Kletka first have to abandon their team just to not die. While thematically I think this fits, gameplay wise it feels a bit counterintuitive.

- Some sort of information gathering, such as a database or even just a postgame review that allows you to know more about the Kletka events and enemies would be helpful. As much as learning things organically is fun, I think a little more intel would be useful so that deaths don't feel entirely meaningless.

Otherwise, fantastic atmosphere, effective means of making the players feel helpless but not hopeless, and genuinely interesting setting and gameplay mechanics; the sentences are a big favorite of mine! The replay value in those alone is very interesting and I hope more are added.

I'd recommend this game! As long as you're willing to put up with some jank due to early access, I think it's worth the ten dollars. Good pick up and play with friends game!
However, if you're looking for something a little more properly fleshed out, maybe give it a bit of time in the oven, first. The devs seem active and willing to put a lot of effort into this venture and I hope to see Kletka fully realized.
