Greetings, gods! Here is a quick patch featuring some balance changes, bug fixes, and improvements to Japanese texts. A huge thanks to MiyabiSFG and Gologon for refining the Japanese localization! Balance Changes

[General]
- On average, enemies now spawn slightly farther from the Shrine on higher difficulty levels.

[Skills]
- Orc Technician (fire unit)
  - ▲ Increased stats from 1/6 to 1/7.

[Basic tiles]
- Place of Power
  - ▲ Increased the default quantity on Normal and Hard difficulties in Act 2 by 1.
- Sandstorm (Act 2)
  - ▼ Decreased the default quantity on Normal and Hard difficulties in Act 2 by 1.

Other

[Tutorial]
- Revised the order in which different enemy modifiers are presented to new players.

[Texts]
- ☄️ Various improvements to Japanese texts.

Fixes

☄️ Fixed the Chosen One talent hiding all of its target's buffs except Spellbound.
☄️ Fixed the Ultimate Power achievement not being granted under specific circumstances.
☄️ Fixed the Executioner not getting buffed by his ability under specific circumstances.
Fixed the Dread Raven's ability description displaying an extra tooltip in the inspection mode.
Fixed the Treasures of the Past adding gems that are exclusive for the Summoning Circle.
Fixed the Rotten Souls duplicate being offered as a reward by certain effects.
Fixed the Beacon of Souls description displaying its extra tooltip in the inspection mode incorrectly.
Fixed upgraded gems being counted as created gems in the experience calculation at the end of each run.
Fixed the Solar Prism's death upgrade being unaffected by corruption.
Fixed Northern Cities and Fortresses not displaying the allegiance in their descriptions under certain circumstances.
Fixed the Dwarven Outpost skill being displayed incorrectly in the Summoning Circle window.
Fixed the Orc Technician's ability not taking effect under specific circumstances.

Absolutely broken combo that beats everything

Step 1: Unlock and pick Great Sacrifice, Auxiliary Power: Kill an ally and refund its mana cost 3 times per battle, costs 0 Mana. Step 2: Pick any 1 cost minions you come across, Cursed Spirit and Edit: Plant Soldier are the most effective. Bugs Reports On Blazing Soul And Its Animation, And Some Feedback

I can't find any discord links to a Godless video game discord, so I'm going to leave my bug report here. Whenever I activating Blazing Soul in the game, it doesn't add the killed ally's attack points to the living ally. In addition, the animation that plays when you activate Blazing Soul (the one that looks like a come going to your living ally) remains stuck on the UI screen for the rest of the match. Greetings, gods! The next content update is here, bringing with it new skills, fates, rituals, and Steam achievements! I'd love to hear your thoughts on all of these, so don't forget that you can always discuss Godless and give feedback in the Discord[discord.gg]! Now, let's dive in!

Changes

New Features

Added Steam Achievements!
- Accomplish a variety of deeds to get over 140 achievements on Steam.

Content

Added new Skills:
- Orc Technician (fire unit)
- Dwarven Outpost (neutral tile; exclusive for the Summoning Circle)

Added new Fates:
- Bring to Justice (green)
- Grant Swift Death (orange)
- Banish to Swamps (purple)

Added new Rituals:
- Borrowed Power (basic)
- Threads of Fate (paid)

Balance Changes

[General]
- The third slot in the post-battle rewards now always contains either resources or a scroll.
- ☄️ Continents will now become larger with a slightly higher chance.
- ☄️ You can now reroll natural disasters and enemy modifiers for ether.
- ☄️ On average, enemies will now spawn a bit farther from the Shrine.

[Rituals]
- Mana Burst
  - ▲ Increased the number of Places of Power from 2 to 3.
- Great Mana Burst
  - ▲ Increased the number of Places of Power from 2 to 3.
- Storm Wind
  - ⮂ Changed the type from basic (blue) to paid (yellow).
- Ancient Curse
  - ⮂ Changed the type from paid (yellow) to basic (blue).

[Skills]
- Carnivorous Flower (nature unit)
  - ▲ Increased stats from 1/6 to 1/8.
- Executioner (death unit)
  - ▲ Increased stats from 6/11 to 6/12.
- Magic Trap (neutral tile)
  - ▲ Increased base damage from 3 to 4.

[Basic tiles]
- Swamp (Act 1)
  - ▼ Decreased the default quantity on Normal difficulty from 6 to 5.

[Shrines]
- Mystic Shrine
  - ☄️ ⮂ Reworked the basic ability into: "Passive: spellbinds a chosen unit every 3 turns. If it's next to the Shrine, gain +1 mana".

[Locations]
- Crossroads
  - ▲ Increased sell prices of the Summoning Cirlce rewards at the Alchemy Lab by 8%.
  - ▲ Allowed non-equipped skills from the inventory occasionally appear at the Alchemy Lab.

[Scrolls]
- Negative Energy
  - ▼ Decreased the damage dealt to the Shrine from 4 to 3.

[Consequences]
- Sworn Enemy (Act 3)
  - ▲ Increased the boss' stats by ~20%.

[Enemies]
- Gorethon Valorian (Act 3)
  - ☄️ ⮂ Reworked the red Sources of Power ability into: "You get +1 mana, but Gorethon's second ability is upgraded. This tile disappears afterwards."

[Enemy Modifiers]
- Malicious Spores
  - ☄️ ▼ Decreased the damage of the Swamps from 3/3/4/4 to 1/2/3/4.

[Boons]
- Visual Customization
  - ▼ Decreased experience cost from 600/900 to 300/600.
- Giant Slayer
  - ☄️ ▲ Increased buff values from 4/8/12/15 to 4/8/12/16.

Other

[UI/UX]
- It's now displayed in Northern Cities' and Fortresses' descriptions who they are captured by.
- ☄️ Certain UI elements in the Chamber are now a bit more distinct.

[Tutorial]
- ☄️ Tweaked effects of certain anomalies and natural disasters for the duration of the first tutorial runs.
- Tweaked some enemies' stats during the first tutorial runs.
- Revised the order in which different Fates are presented to new players.
- Revised the order in which different enemy modifiers are presented to new players.

[Texts]
- ☄️ Edited Japanese texts with the immense help of the community.
- ☄️ Fixed some typos.

Fixes

☄️ Fixed the Misty Plateau adding fire energy as a battle reward.
☄️ Fixed certain Fates' values being displayed as 0 on the 10th continent.
☄️ Fixed resistant units drowning on Frozen Lakes (happened under specific circumstances).
☄️ Fixed the Well of Souls not resurrecting units on the 10th continent (happened under specific circumstances).
☄️ Fixed Talvius' on death ability causing a softlock if he's affected by the Contagion debuff.
☄️ Fixed skills, talents, and scrolls in the start drafting not being refreshed after the defeat on the 1st continent.
☄️ Fixed the Arbiter of Fates' ability not triggering under specific circumstances.
Fixed the Resistance notfication not popping up on a Frozen Lake.
Fixed the Celestial Jewel anomaly adding gems from the Summoning Circle.
Fixed units' intentions not being updated after creating a Phantom Mountain.
Fixed the Beacon of Souls not buffing allies (happened on rare occasions).
Fixed the "Choose resource to pay" label in the Rituals window displaying incorrect text (happened under specific circumstances).
Fixed the tooltip for buffs on the Fates screen cutting off descriptions in certain languages.
Fixed the Heart of the Volcano extra attack animation not being played with certain units.
Fixed natural disasters' UI being displayed incorrectly on the world map under specific circumstances.
Fixed Rock Walls causing stutters while rapidly hovering the mouse cursor over them.
