Right now, it's ideology over gameplay. For example: there are only 2 fridges in the game, but 12 different pride flags. That wouldn't be a problem in and of itself. It just shows the direction of the whole game. Yes, of course it's early access. But it seems pride flags are more important, than furniture, that has actual use. Let me give you another example, which makes the game just not fun at all to me.

Imagine you're playing a guy who wants to find his future wife. Ok, you go out and meet someone called Walter who might look like a woman. You never can be sure. Pixel graphics. Walter is a xier/xiem. I don't know what this means. Is it a potential future wife or not?

You have to ask Walter about "reproductive abilities".
In order to do that successfully, you have to flirt with Walter, until you might as well be in a relationship already. That's such a waste of time, if you have to do that with every single "woman" you meet, before you can even tell if it's an actual woman, or not.

If it wasn't for gameplay hindering and needlessly complicated stuff like that, the game might actually be fun. I don't know.

The game seems fine more or less but I spent like 3 hours just trying to build and couldn't because the grid doesn't stay or something...yes I am ocd so I was finding the center of the lot to build out from but every time I would rotate the camera everything would get thrown off and nothing was where it should have been in the center of the lot. I couldn't install ceiling lights because it kept saying there wasn't a ceiling even though there was but only if you rotated the camera around, if you rotated the camera the other direction then the ceiling would magically move same with the staircase.

I definitely has potential! I love the idea and I can imagine this game doing great in the future, and for that alone I'm gonna give it a positive review!

That being said it is pretty bare bones at the moment, not much to do, not many options for furniture, not a lot of house building stuff like pillars, raised foundation, etc. and the roof is a little annoying because you can either have an A-roof that lines up or a centered door, you cannot have both. Same with rugs, they don't line up under anything, beds, tables, sofas, they'll always be sticking out too far one way or another. Some small QOL changes would most definitely elevate this game a lot!
