after playing more than 500 hours since 0.4 i can tell that scum had the potential and proved it with the detailed metabolism system and attention to detail from the devs and delivering the promise which was a realistic immersive survival game that has every aspect in it with a different and dark lore.for that time it exceeded the standards of that generation of gaming.
don't get me wrong it was enjoyable but not after the 0.7 patch. gamepires forgot about the fans forgot about the potential and the art they were creating.partnering up with jagex even made it worst. the game has been carried on hypes and silly people like me who got fooled and supported this game and brought all my friends to it (14 friends). i have played on us#1 official server since 3 days ago and all i can tell you is that the community is dead even tho the server was full !, all the players on that server were chinese, the server was full pop and yet i didn't see a trace of a player and i explored more than 6 sectors, i didn't encounter any animals or wild life, all i encountered was the sudden unrealistic spawn of puppets in the bushes i didn't look at, after patch 0.6 they broke the immersion of the game with each patch and didn't fix it back, the community specially the content creator community warned them about their mistakes and yet here we are. i love scum and the potential for it but the hate they created in me by these actions led to this negative review. i feel betrayed and scammed from this company and will never support it again, i've put up with all the bugs and hard times from the 0.4 patch and never braged about them cause i had faith in the devs and knew it will get fixed. but here we are after all these years and the game is at the worst state than before.

-- Long Story short, the current state of the game is the following:
-forced unrealistic immersion ( they can do it better but it seems they don't feel the need )
-unbalanced loot tables
-unbalanced mechanics
-unrealistic game physics
-lack of player interaction
-lack of good devs who haven't forgot why the fans choose this game
-unoptimized game and game servers
-they added tons of DLCs but refused to fix the game to a point that is enjoyable and not annoying af
-unrealistic combat logging issue ( why can someone have 10 accounts that have logged out with all the loot ?)
-cheaters are rampaging in the game servers ( i reported many cheaters but the reporting system is so bad )
-they don't value the time and love you put in their game
-i could go 20 more lines but i think that is enough, a good survival game which lacks 3 of the above won't count as a good one so yea... they ruined the game since 0.6 and i don't think they will ever agree to it and for once care more for the game than the money ...

all these led to me believing that there is no hope for 1.0 and i won't be coming back to check it out until maybe someday i see the game actually is fixed and enjoyable.i'm tired of them playing and hyping players around and giving the false promises and hopes for the future of the game.

buy scum on more than 70-80% off cause it is not worth the current price.

Its a ♥♥♥♥ game

First of all,this game hase been good till 2 years ago,then it started to be more worse with any patch,broken,and full of bugs,you are removing good old features,like stuck rifle or handgun,jumping from the plane in air,flat tires and many of them from the game to put broken content,i don't know what happened with dev's but maan,this game had potential to be better then most of the survival games on the market,and it goes down,Dev's doesn't listen to the real community,spawn system broken and bad,chest's full of loot dissapear,building is broken,cooking is stupid,we are not in cooking simulator to wait one RL hour for something to be prepared for eat in survival where we need to fight zombies or other people,animations for entering car and closing door's are meant for driving simulator not for survival where you need to be fast to survive attack,there is no balance between temp's,or you are too cold,or too warm,zombies spawn system is bad as never before,you should return old system,and remove those hordes,hordes are better in another games,where you have attack on the base every couple of days,is much better system,and server owners doesn't have any good option's for administrating servers,there should be also options like setting number of mech's or that we can spawn them for some events,we are paying for the game,we are paying for the servers,we are promoting your game,and you are watching how many people are on chinese server's,and not your real player's and community,2 years ago i would recommend this game,but now,not anymore,sorry guys,i'm from Croatia,but i'm not proud anymore on this game,and also,i think that i'm talking in the name of the most people from balkan,you all come frome here,and you are not having even balkanic community channel on offical discord,shame on you..
