Hello heroes!

We’ve made the following bug fixes and balance updates to Slime Heroes today. Including some new features

New Features

Multiplier numbers are visible for the scale sliders in the player difficulty menu
Added bug reporting button on the main menu that goes to the Slime Heroes bug reporting page
Added a button option for opening directly to the player menu map page

Balance Notes

Falling into lava applies fire damage
Ignis attacks hit more frequently
The projectile/whirlwind skill combo now spawns two projectiles
Lowered invulnerable window after player receives damage from 0.8 to 0.7
Whale enemy in desert will more frequently attack
The spawn skill dungeon's last couple of puzzles had a polish pass
Getting to full run speed for player character reduced by 1 second
Lower energy gain from all weapons by 10%
Increase the damage on fist weapon by 15%

Single Player

Frigis sometimes sinks into the ground or disappears into the sky
Frigis polish pass. Attacks should be more reliable
Achievements for damage and completing dungeons should be able to be obtained
All UI should look good on widescreen
Sound effects system polish. Sounds should be more consistent and go away properly when the volume is muted
Switching the console type for the gamepad UI should be more accurate to Playstation and Switch button layouts
The controls menu locked after attempting to remap a button to Menu
The player gets stuck under the map when leaving the battle dungeon in the snow biome
Magic stat was updating when changing the damage scale in the player menu
The player would get stuck after interacting with Frigus
The gas puzzle in the swamp biome continues to work if the player respawns after attempting it
Ignis hit checks should be more reliable
The player would lose a dodge icon if resting at Orion right after dodging
Lotred grab should be more reliable and not damage players randomly
Lux will damage players while spinning
Players fall through enemy blocks while the game is paused
Ignis pillar attacks launch players high into the air
Enemy puzzle blocks should spawn more reliably when falling into water
Lotred spore attack wasn’t spawning
Pazmut showing when you will get a new heart is more reliable
Reflect skill dungeon final fight projectile spawners should work

Online Multiplayer

The second player randomly gets multiple hearts
Second player randomly getting shards after resting at Orion
Second player randomly getting new hat and skill icons popping up after resting at Orion
The second player should be able to change the sound volume when joining an online game
Tome is awarded outside of the dungeon instead of being available to pick up before exiting
The second player will more reliably spawn boss skills
Half cost return shards button in orion rest menu doesn't destroy the shards on both server and client when server uses the button

Magic stat upgrade not working in multiplayer

In multiplayer, my magic stat always show me 9 in character stats screen even if i upgraded it to 24 in the shop. Back in solo play, if i upgrade the magic again it's now at 27 in the shop and only 11 in stats screen.

Hello heroes!

We’ve made the following bug fixes and balance updates to Slime Heroes today. Including some new features

New Features

Controller Vibration toggle in player settings

Balance Notes

Damage should be more reliable from all enemies
Increased invulnerability after taking damage from 0.4 seconds to 0.8 seconds

Single Player:

Ignis is defeating themselves in the boss dungeon by falling through the lava floor
Ignis does not give ultimate skill when defeated in the battle dungeon
The floor of Ignis's arena disappears on victory
Players can get stuck in and repeatedly take damage when falling into water
Switching UI for console buttons should stay permanently when leaving and joining the game
Enemy behavior is more reliable with enemy switches
The game crash in the Barrier puzzle dungeon is fixed
Pillars from Ignis's attacks are left in the arena after the player dies

Online Multiplayer:

Frigis sometimes sinks into the ground or disappears into the sky for an extended time.
Second player will more reliably spawn their skills
The second player's upgraded stats aren't getting applied until they leave the game and join again

Local Multiplayer:

Tomes should be collectable by the second player

Hello heroes!

We’ve made the following bug fixes and some balance updates to the game today. Including some new features

New Features

Weapon combo customization for basic and heavy attacks
Graphic level settings in the settings menu
Resolution scaling in settings menu
In solo play, players will take damage from falling rather than killing them outright if they have enough health
WASD support inside controller input settings menu
Added a short guard rail for running off the ledge accidentally

Balance Notes

Remove the launch of bigger enemies with Hammer
Increase Health gain from defeating enemies Hat
Performance pass
Jumping and landing being more reliable
Decrease Slows effect on bosses
Bug Fixes
Single Player:
Energy pillar in dungeon refills consistently
Frigis dungeon door boss moving out of the arena and getting stuck outside the dungeon
HUD skill buttons don't update if changed in the controller menu
Enemies continue to spawn in the tutorial infinitely when the game is in a paused state

Online Multiplayer:

Enemy doors in mountain biome respawned for both players after defeating Ignis
Second player's world disappeared when exiting the puzzle dungeon
Second player turns invisible while the other player is in a cutscene
Second player cannot see Ignis's Arena and falls into a lava pit
Frigus ultimate is not going away for the second player
Second player sees visual issues with Buff Damage combinations
Second player received two ultimate skill items after beating the boss
Enemies who use patrol paths were out of sync
For the second player, status effects on enemies don't clear right away when defeated
Second player was able to see crystals when joining another player's game in the tutorial
Shards spawning after an enemy being defeated did not automatically go to the player

death on falling annoying and discourages exploration

having to respawn so far back for falling off a ledge, is so annoying. And it's incredibly easy to fall given the lack of depth perception from the locked camera and flat shading.

Local co-op partner can't reclaim tablets

Playing on steam deck. Like the game a lot so far, but my coop partner cannot claim tablets. They get the cut scene but no heart appears and their health is not increased.
