I have gotten 7 out of 15 endings has anyone done better?

Like the subject says, can we pause and make decisions? I hate these new FMV games that give you a second or two to make a decision, especially when we usually lack the ability to save when and where we want. I'm not replaying the damn game just to make a different choice. TLDR: Can I pause when making a decision to take my time in deciding what I want to choose or does the game force me to rush?...
