this version is a very different experience to the original version, which is completely free. if you're going into this game avoiding spoilers you're just gonna have to trust me on this.

game mechanics have been changed to (in my opinion) make the game less impactful. to better suit consosles, the file editing mechanic has been changed to be on a mock desktop rather than your own real desktop. i think this makes the game less scary since there are clear boundaries between the game and whats outside of it

you should only get this if you're a fan of the free version and want the bonus content
