i bought this game and i enjoyed it for several hours. i played on normal. and everytime i died horribly. not sure what i'm doing wrong but just never have a large enough or good enough army to defeat like 38 monk calvary coming at me. i tried to focus more on economy and then attack the dungeons when i had minimum losses. perhaps this game needs an easy mode as well as a normal and hard. lol. or maybe i just suck....

I really like the look and feel of this game (judging from a Let's Play episode) - it reminds me of the old C64 era game "Kaiser". However I feel that the price might be asking a bit much for a game of that small scope (comparing it to other similar games). Had it been half of what it is I woulc have picked it up without a second thought. Just my 2 cents worth....

I'll make this short. There's a lot to like here but what turns me off is the lack of some critical information that the game doesn't give me. With early units one is told exactly what the counter units are, but soon enough you start having to guess, which seems to be a crapshoot more or less. Even when using the right counter units (like shield guy vs archers or spear guys vs horse units ... wouldn't even know what you count magic users best with except other magic users) ih happens often enough that I ...

Hi there, I tried it about 10 times on "Normal". It is a quite hard game to beat. The village will be attacked every 6 turns which makes things planable. I try not to spend to many resources in order to buy troops once I know what will hit me. What I found is that the wave`suddenly get very hard in the "second age". It feels like the jumps with the Mork units it a bit too harsh. Might be good to balance the attackers a bit so that the lvl 1 units don't get completely useless from one fight to another....
