So bad.

This game is amzing, It's extremely daunting at first I was so confused and just shut off the game but after watching a short tutorial video that got me started I've been ABSOLUTELY ADDICTED. It would take me an incredibly long time to list everything but here are some highlights I enjoy in my first playthrough so far.
1. Create your own characters. The editor isn't the most flushed out but you can make some awesome warriors as well as upload/download other peoples characters online. So you could in theory have a whole kingdom where there are no random officers and instead custom characters your friends (or random ppl on the internet) made.
2. Roguelite? The game is centered around random events. What officers do, which rulers want to recruit you, even what happens on the battle has many random events that make every battle feel unique (as unique as a warriors game can be lol lets be real)
3. Create your own Dynasty. Your character has to build relationships with the famous dynasty warriors characters to form armies and relationships that carry on through your blood line. No joke you can marry a famous character then after 50 years you can continue your playthroug+ with their child.
I'm getting tired of typing but I can only mention the updated combat system from the clasic series that now has "state" comboes making combat 100x less repetitive, where you have several more options than just square square triangle triangle...
4. Hands down one of the biggest banger soundtracks. For real the soundtrack just keeps slamming, I recommend immediately to go to your hideout after u get music player furniture and set war room to random so you can hear it all it really has no place being so amazing lol

All in all it was insane surprise at how good Dynasty Warriors dw9e actually is because of all the hate they receive online but they are actually steps forward for the franchise.
