More of a mixed than a straight no.
A very good and different idea, I liked that you don't have to worry about crops as they grow very fast, the idea is being a chef not a farmer and that was well done (no pun intended).

Though the game felt slow somehow, I don't know if it's the few quests you have, or what, but I didn't feel like I did very much in almost 4 and a half hours. Maybe it's because there isn't a lot of things to unlock in the game, crops, variety of items, etc. I did spend a bit of time being lost as to how to get an Apple log, I know, it's so obvious, yet makes no sense lol. I never would have thought to chop down my tree to get its logs, and it will regrow no problem, and not only to build with it, but also cook it! I don't believe the game mentioned anything like that in its tutorial if I am not mistaken.

Dialogue and cutscenes are WAY too long, even though they are good and actually funny, made me laugh a few times, they just feels too long and too frequent.

Having a 'ride' very early in the game is amazing (though you might miss the side quest or postpone doing it and missing out), especially with how slow you feel, and gives you quite some inventory slots, but you can't pick things up while riding it, and a worse one is that, you get off automatically every time you open your inventory.

Cooking in itself not leveling you up, since it's the whole idea of the game, is such a weird decision, it doesn't even add to the spirit and other stats' values or whatever you want to call them. I know why they did it like that, but it doesn't make sense, they definitely could have balanced the game around it. Like the current idea isn't bad, it's actually kind of smart, but it's just weird that eating levels up your cooking skill instead of actually cooking lol. And honestly, makes the game feels more like it has no content like I said before, like the current content is fine, it's just the way they went about the game, decisions and designs, made it feel more obvious.
