The tactical RPG gameplay is practically non-existent, while the writing inferior and the roleplaying choices more limited compared to the first game. The UI is clunky as hell and it's almost impossible to parse out what is going on in combat. Instead of keeping it short and sweet, the narrative is served up in long, undigestible walls of text (a sin particularly for this type of game). The visuals are a very mixed bag - some of the art is quite good and some of it not so good. I liked some of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ content, but the game is such a chore to play, I just gave up after a couple of hours.

I started playing Corruption of Champions got exited for the second one just to be disappointed. The more I play this game the less I enjoy it. There are scenes where characters don't feel like they are the character I got to know. Other scenes feel railroady I just stand there as and NPC and are forced to watch them or my input in the game choices means nothing really. Sure the outcome might change but it feels like it missing choices. The game does take care of a lot of likes and dislikes some more than other but some of the true freedoms we had in the original CoC are gone.

Contains expansion elements, and is a massive overall improvement from its original installment.
