Nothing happens

why?

when i load into the game i hit start and it takes me to the different modes menu, when i hit continue because i just wanna play the game without dlc it won't start TL;DR: game won't let me play

There's balalaika mode and Stalin mode, neither of them does anything, the only that works is: "back".
