It's upsetting that I can't recommend this game. I mean the description of the aesthetics and the premise are winners but that's just the paint on the surface, not the actual game.

The negatives.
- The game is not chill and punishingly difficult. Checkpoints are incredibly sparse. Add into the incredibly not chill instant failure system if you touch a stationary object or fly off and you can lose minutes of progress from a small mistake. This goes against the whole "chill" vibe it's going for.
- The Tanuki is lame. You can barely customize your tanuki at all. Half of the customizations are solely on the bottom of your longboard (the other half being clothing) that you can't see. There is no additional way to express yourself really with the Tanuki while riding so it just becomes a fleeting novelty.
- The three maps has nice variation but there is no gameplay variety. Nor are there any upgrades that the store page claims exists, there are only cosmetic options (that I already said are weak).
- RNG map creation for the main campaign is just not something I'm a fan of at all even though the arcade minigame mode I believe are bespoke levels.

It was fun and novel for a little bit but the constant small mistakes resetting minutes of my progress have made me just quit and uninstall the game.
