utter garbage and disgrace to the franchise. go pay for something else. these developers were so obsessed with publishing under the IP they didn't even make a fun game. It's buggy as hell and the unit interaction/mobility and stacking is insanely frustrating. the arachnids are like the zerg on crack (i can appreciate a challenge) but the incessant horde gameplay with weak and hardly customizable troop loadouts it makes for a constant uphill battle from battle scenario 1. if you want to hate starship troopers play this game

Bought thinking this would be as good as the OG movie... NOPE!!! Horrible game! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The game play is horrible, voice acting horrible, missions horrible, just all around a bad game. Can only do campaign missions and replay missions from the movies. Stay away and buy something else. You can thank me later ;)

A 10/10 for me, this is one of the great story driven rts games we miss from the 90s and early 2000's.

I don't like these types of game at all, but for some reason I still haven't worked out, this one tickles my fancy. I really enjoy it.
I think it might be because it reminds me of the movie, but more so, it is different enough and with it's own new mechanics to boost the rts gameplay no end.
So the game is gold even if you are no fan of rts it's one to try.
As for content, it has more than your moneys worth and there is dlc to extend your pleasure if you so wish. I don't really have any cons, the game is straight up great, and that comes from someone who has no love for the rts.

Very much liked the feel of the game. The story was alright and always felt bad for my troops when they got attacked. then the more specialized troops came in and i was set. would recommend for lovers of the franchise and the movies alike. 10/10
