Absolutely lovely game, and a great improvement from the first.
The writing is unusually funny and on point, with lots of awesome and hilarious references from the 80's.
There is no more stat decay, which is lovely, running your own gym is nice, and it seems there are viable build options for all stats.

Nostalgia? Check. 80s-90's references? Check. Kickass soundtrack? Double check.

A truly fun sequel to the first Punch Club with the same witty funny writing, homages, and easter eggs. But under it all, still a fun and addictive management game. This is what my Steam Deck is for. I love it.

Overall a great sequel to the previous game. I will agree that the game is too grindy at times and it can be frustrating when you're just trying to play through the story. Other than that the art and soundtrack is great and I think the story is really interesting. Looking forward to the DLC.
