Helltrain screams this at you from the first run. You'll do fine for the first 3-5 hubs, and then a boss will show up that can 1-shot every monster in your deck without them getting to fight back and you'll watch helplessly as meager 2 damage spells or 2 HP heals get drawn and you can do nothing with them.

Allowing the enemies to attack first was and remains the worst decision Helltrain ever made.
