Personally i think there are better mmo's out there without any paywalls or pay to win aspects. Try out warframe if you are not sure which mmo's are better.

This game has undergone some changes and im one of those players that started with this game back when it launched. I miss the old level system as i like lore and storylines and grinding levels. currently they removed a big chunk of the starter story and levels are now given as quest rewards instead of exp. If you like this change then good on you but i personally liked working for my levels. I know that some people said that its easier to max level alt characters to 20 now unlike how the game used to be but i personally never understood why the create a max level character couldnt just be a free thing you can do.

Speaking of paying to do stuff. This game has a massive grind behind it. massive campaigns with daily missions that will have you spend days doing the same stuff over and over again for very poor return in rewards, but fear not! cus you can pay real money to skip it. In fact paying to skip the boring content becomes more and more enticing as you realise that only like 1 % of the content is actually fun and unique. So far the only parts i liked are the random dungeons, trials and skirmishes. I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THAT IS THE DRAGON HUNTS. You spend 30 minutes becoming a human sized ping pong ball as the dragon stuns you and throws you around every 5 seconds for the entire 30 minutes you do the run. Guess what! you get told to do this dungeon about 20 times. atleast that is how much i have had to do it so far. I really hate this dungeon and will be skipping them on my alts.

Overall i am not too sure about this game. Currently I'm playing for the nostalgia, but i am not sure that i will continue this game for much longer. I would have liked it more if epic or better gear dropped from final bosses instead of being given in a chest at the end of the dungeon because when i think mmo and boss fight that is just instinctively what i expect to have. The chest seems to me like they just exists to get you to spend your AD to keep you locked into the grind for more AD. I wish a fantasy action rpg would just be created already where there is not PTW.
