I feel quite limited by the number of abilities I can use in combat. Particularly when there are so many abilities linked to items. My mage, for example, can only actually take 2 spells into combat, even at Level 21! If not, is there a way of "turning off" item ability slots?...

Many times I enter combat my team members just stand around with no skills active. I can't do anything with them and it doesn't seem to follow a pattern. Sometimes it's 3 rounds before my warrior can attack and sometimes 3 rounds before my rogue. Other times it's the other way round or both can attack from the start. What decides this sort of thing? I assume there is some mechanic I haven't figured out yet....

I've just unlocked the 5th spot with Fiona, but I think I'd rather have a second Rogue than a second Bard. I'll re-spec whichever it is, so what they're like doesn't matter, but do I need to have Fiona in the party for any plot reason?

She currently seems to be locked into the party - and she's useless, 4 levels lower than Bryan and 3 lower than the rest and poorly specced (and I'm not going to waste a Merc token on her). When will I be able to get rid of her? ;)
