Pretty much the definition of mid. It's kinda like a very very dumbed down version of kerbal space program mixed with an idle game, I guess? Most of the game is pretty mindless tasks that are fun the first 10 or so times but then personally I was just waiting for an option to automate it. Which to be fair, that option does eventually come for most things. But for the most part any task you have to do yourself tends to feel like a chore, especially towards the end of the game.

For example, you have to manually place buildings, that is one part of the game that cannot be automated. However, most buildings do not have sufficiently bigger versions of themselves. E.x. the solar panels you place on mars. You get small versions and medium versions, but no large or superlarge versions. So you can't just place like 5 huge solar panel buildings or moving a slider or heck I'd even prefer clicking a button to build more solar panels. Nope. Instead you have to manually place literally hundreds of these all over mars to have any appreciable amount of electricity. This is the definition of busy work.
On top of this, sandstorms on mars destroy buildings, and you have to manually scroll over and click "repair" every. single. one. By the end of the game I was just frustrated. Most tasks in the game work in this same way. Fun the first 10 times you do it but then you just wanna automate it because its super repetitive. Some things ARE automated, but strangely not everything and strangely you are required to unlock each of these quality of life features.

tl;dr: game has a lot of unnecessarily repetitive mechanics, especially towards the end. Otherwise it's...eh...okay.

Would I recommend this game to other players?

I can look past the fact that the game is pretty easy.
I can look past the fact that the later portion of the game (moon/mars) is underdeveloped and boring as heck.
I can look past the memory leak or whatever made things slower and slower as the game went on but magically fixed itself after restarting the game.

I cannot look past a game that asks you to launch 42,000 rockets when I completed every feasible in-game objective launching only 700 rockets.
My play time for completing the game was around 6 hours, and I had that on slow speed/pause the entire trip. 700 rockets.
I'm now at 26 hours of the fastest speed option available.
7,000 rockets.
I have to idle this game for SIX full days. This isn't an idle game. This achievement doesn't need to be there. It doesn't respect the consumers time AND FOR THAT REASON I'M OUT.

I really liked it. For everybody who likes casual gaming after a hard working day.
