I have "Allow stealing jokers from others" enabled. However, I am unable to steal a joker from the AI player's meld. What gives?

I've noticed a few random times the menu at the bottom disappears and then the left mouse button is throwing cards out instead of selecting them for melding. I've ruined a few good hands this way. I've only been playing single player games.

Hello, this is a fun little game, but I miss some rules: 1.) If you haven't placed the cards for the first time, you are only allowed to take a card from the Talon. 2.) If you pick up a card from the pile on the right side, you have to use it instantly. Same goes for joker you replace....
