Do not install if you are already subscribed to Spart's Kitbashes.

This is the standalone release of my sawed-off shotgun kitbash weapon mod. It features:
  • Grimy's Loot integration
  • Configurable damage
  • Configurable range
  • Configurable schematic costs/availability
  • Configurable mobility bonuses/penalties
  • Configurable aim bonuses/penalties
  • Configurable critical chances
  • Configurable detection radius modifier (disabled by default)
  • The option to hide depreciated tiers
  • The option to prevent the weapon from being added to the inventory on start.

Configure mod options via:
Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\268500\705577020\Config\XComSpartsSawedSA.ini

This is mostly to test the waters and see if there is interest in standalone version of the weapons in my main mod. Should there be a noticeable demand for this I will make standalone versions for the rest while the original mod will serve as a compilation mod.

Hello. Your weapons are simply "fantastic", congratulations to the work done so far and I hope - hopefully and hopefully - that your mod can be used in conjunction with the new "War of the Chosen" expansion and if that is not possible .. That you update the mod making this possible, because even though I am anxiously awaiting the new expansion ... it will be difficult to play without your weapons after we have become accustomed to them. Congratulations and very ("very") thank you!

It would be possible for you to gather all the weapons in one file ("Sawed-off Shotgun - Standalone, Combat Shotgun - Standalone, Salvaged Cannon - Standalone, Multipurpose Combat Rifles - Standalone, Carbines - Standalone, Magnetic Carbines - Dependent"). Make it easier to use these weapons? Thank you!

I honestly can't say off the top of my head and I don't have my original files to sift through because my old computer went kaput. I recommend you take a look at some code from Long War first or anything else by Pavonis because those guys actually sneak in notes to help decipher their changes.

I am going to try and emulate the stats of the LW2 sawed off as a bases but I need help on some of the values in the code. Damage is the damage. Spread is the +/1 of the damage? Idk what PlusOne is. What is the Crit value? how much extra damage is gained when it crits? What is Pierce and Shred? Thanks for any help.

No. The weapon uses the same stats as the pistol (and has variants for all three tech levels).

I don't have XCOM 2 installed right now to see how Grimy set secondaries to utilities so I don't know if that mod will work as intended with this one. I do know though that this mod is not compatible with LW2.

Does this use the shotgun stats but basically in the secondary slot?

Do you think you can make this compatible with LW2? Due to the change where they made pistols a utility item, a lot of mods that add more pistols have become useless.
And seeing as this mod in particular is my favorite among them, I really want to have sawed-off shotguns (the one in this mod) on other classes.

I like tha fact that with your mods, the upgrades are free.
