Reinhardt Build as the name might suggest, is Reinhardt cosplay from Overwatch game. The entire build focuses melee mechanics, so you can feel like real Reinhardt. Skills selected for this build allows to achieve the maximum possible melee damage. This Build can be (but need not to) enriched with saw (to open people), making your playstyle more brutal and complex

Requied DLC
  • Gage Assault pack
  • BBQ pack

Characteristic features
  • Melee
  • Passive health regeneration (Muscle Perk Deck)
  • Permament Berserk state (Frenzy skill)
  • Heavy armor (Improved Combined Tactical Vest + Bulletproof)
  • Combat saw (optional)
  • Two ammo bags (optional)

Because this is just a cosplay build, It's more fun than effictive. I highly do not recommend to try it on Death Wish. Sure, you can try if you are serious melee master, but if you are looking for a good Death Wish build, better use one of my other builds (links at the end of guide)

SHOTGUNER
  • Underdog ACE - Many enemies? Good, that means greater glory!

TANK
  • Resilience ACE - The fact that you wear a helmet, does not automatically mean that you sight is worse or something.
  • Die Hard basic - After so many years in this job you learned incredible patience
  • Transporter ACE - You're not that old to slow entire team down!
  • Bulletproof ACE - Enemy shields can protect against bullets, but no one is safe from your hammer!
  • Iron Man ACE - You are a real Tank or not?

AMMUNITION SPECIALIST
  • Scavening basic - Filler
  • Portable Saw ACE & Carbon Blade ACE - When your rocket hammer is not enough
  • Extra Lead ACE - Take good care of your weapon. You do not want to break your precious toys, do you?
  • Fully Loaded basic - It's something

Skills - Enforcer (classic Reinhardt)

REVENANT
  • Nine Lives ACE - Getting rid of you is not a simple task.
  • Swan Song ACE - When you hurt a warrior of such size, it will be some time until realize he should be knocked down.

BRAWLER
  • Martial Arts ACE - Show some skills of real knighthood!
  • Bloodthrist basic - I already feel sorry for your enemies
  • Counterstrike ACE - Using melee against YOU? Someone here is really brave, or really stupid.
  • Pumping Iron ACE - You are not calling it "rocket hammer" for nothing.
  • Berserker basic - Your weapons are not a light type.
  • Frenzy ACE - 300 health + 200 armor.
Park Deck - Muscle

With the Meat Shield, the enemies are more likely to attack you. That little feature can mimic Reinhardt's huge size and hitbox ;)

Rocket Hammer


To imitate Reinhardt's famous hammer rocket you can use Alpha Mauler, or Ding Dong Breaching Tool

Fire Strike


Grenade Launcher GL40 with incendiary grenades


Secondary weapon


Saw. You can use it to open deposits, or for quick eliminations of special enemies.

For Overkill to have fixed melees by now. Like, CORRECTLY fixed.

Dude, it is a fuckin melee build. A MELEE BUILD. What did you expect anyway?

OK, I have tried all of your overwatch builds, excluding the McCree build and the 76 build, which I'm gonna try next. I died over, and over, and over. I'm kinda thankful that you did NOT mark this as deathwish viable, since it's not even OVERKILL VIABLE. And I was using it on maps that were best with saws. The problem is if you don't have enough cover, this build just DOES NOT WORK. Look, I know it's not designed to be useful, but some people out there will make the mistake of thinking it WAS. You should probably put a warning in case someone like me is stupid enough to use this on anything other than lower difficulties as a joke.

This build is just a silly cosplay, it is not meant to be useful. I chose GL40 because Reinhardt's Fire Strike is pretty slow, a lot slower than bullets.

Tried this build on Slaughterhouse Mayhem. Got slaughtered by dozers. Seriously, I think that using a shotgun with a slow firing speed and dragonbreath ammo is a better option than using a GL40.
