Updated Sound Overhaul

描述
EDIT: If you want a complete overhaul of most of Source engine's sounds, check out this pack by Kel that goes over what I didn't replace:

In addition, I actually like a few of their weapon sounds better. You might like them better as well!


This addon replaces the sounds of weapons, weapon switching, and footsteps.

May be updated with more sounds replaced - we'll see.

This is a direct continuation of my "Updated Weapon Sounds" pack using better sound design tricks I've learned.

I love the shotgun and 357 sounds. can i reupload this mod but only with the 357 and shotgun sounds??

Hope the footstep sounds could be fixed, it sounds like distant walking is up-close

@Pee Sniffing Chimp I don't think there would be a way to replace every single modded weapon sound. There could be maybe? Make a script for a specific weapon base that checks if its a pistol ar shotgun etc. Then use the right sound for it. However it'd be probably a bad method. That can't check what gun it is. Only the weapon type. So your ak would sound like the m4 etc. Or you could just replace every modded weapon on the workshop manually. But I don't think anyone wants to do that.
