Enhanced Audio Resources is a sound pack for the source engine that aims to completely overhaul the hl2_sound_misc_dir.vpk file that most games and mods that run the source engine run. The results? A new source engine experience.

The complete pack replaces over 1,400 base files to give your game a fresh new coat of paint. You can find a link to that at the top of the description.

The aim of this mod is to represent realism without changing the initial intent of the vanilla sounds.


of course you can choose to install any individual addons if you don't feel that those sounds need to be replaced, or if you prefer to use another soundpack that replaces those sounds. More power to you.

I only recomend the ambient sound packs if you really want the full experience as they are the bulkiest files of the bunch (343mb uncompressed total).
