It's a grineer spool-up shotgun. The longer you hold down the fire button the more pellets it fires each shot, and the more fire rate it gets. However it also increases the ammo usage by alot (at full spool-up charge it can use 3-5 ammo each shot).
Currently no NPC ingame uses the shotgun.

You can find the Kohm blueprint in the market for 20,000 credits.
It takes 12h to craft and needs to following materials:
- 40,000 credits (+20,000 for the blueprint).
- 2,500 salvage.
- 500 oxium.
- 500 cryotic.
- 2 argon crystals.

You can also buy the Kohm pre-build for 125 Platinum with an catalyst already installed.

- Requires mastery rank 2.
- 6 impact damage.
- 6 puncture damage.
- 18 slash damage.
- 10% crit chance.
- 2x crit multiplier.
- 25% status chance.
- 2 reload speed.
- 245 magazine capacity.
- accuracy 3.6.
- semi-auto trigger.
- 1-12 pellets each round. (depending on spool-up charge)
- 1m punch through.

Since the Khom's primary physical damage is slash, it means that it will cut enemies into piles of bodyparts. Which usefull for Nekros since that way he can desecrate 1 enemy 2 times (because they are cut in half).

Comes with a Vazarin (D) polarity. (useless)

- Primed Point Blank: Adds 135% damage increase. (you can max it if you want to get 165% damage increase which will also fit this build)
- Shotgun Spazz: Adds 90% fire rate.
- Hell's Chamber: Adds 120% multishot chance.
- Frail Momentum: Adds 90% fire rate but decreases damage by 15%.
- Frigid Blast: Adds 60% status chance & 60% cold damage increase.
- Toxic Barrage: Adds 60% status chance & 60% toxin damage increase.
- Shell Schock: Adds 60% status chance & 60% electric damage increase.
- Shotgun Ammo Mutation: Changes unused ammo drops into shotgun ammo.

Hell's Chamber, Frigid Blast, Toxic Barrage and Shell Schock increases the status chance to 92,9% making every shot you fire either do a aoe stun (electricty status effect) or halve their health (viral status effect).
The 180% total fire rate increase makes your Kohm fire even faster, which means more status effects, damage and piles of bodyparts for Nekros.
And the Shotgun Ammo Mutation is a must, since you run out of ammo very fast with the insane fire rate and ammo use the Kohm has.

I have added 3 Madurai (V) polarities in order to fit in all the mods listed above.

The Kohm is best used by closing your eyes and holding down the fire button. After you open your eyes again you should see Nekros spamming Desecrate in a blood stained room full of body parts.

All in all the Kohm is a very fun to use weapon, you see bits and pieces of your enemies everywhere!
And it also increases the ammount of loot you get when farming with a nekros, since Nekros can Desecrate anything that you slice in half by simply holding down the fire button.
