[vScript] Solo Popflash-Training script! [script updated]
作者: ein quickes Hühnchen
Trying out new popflashes alone is almost impossible and even with two people it's hard to communicate how hard you get flashed exactly.
In this guide I will show you a script you can use to try popflashes on yourself and alone. Enjoy!

About
Training Popflashes alone is barely possible and extremely hard to do. Even with two players it's tiresome and takes quite some time to explain each other how exactly to throw it, switch positions and observe the effects.

I wrote a script that makes the process much easier: You just throw the flash once, move to wherever you want to see it from, throw another and it will come flying the same way the first one flew.

Here's a video of it in action:

This will not get you VAC-Banned or anything like that, it is a regular vScript, as found in custom maps.
Installation
  1. Download the script from medifire[www.mediafire.com] (or get the source from github[github.com])
  2. Put the file into SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\scripts\vscripts
  3. bind script nadeSavePos() to a key
For example:
bind , "script nadeSavePos()"
Usage
  1. Start a new match without bots (or play on your server with the script installed), casual or comp
  2. enter sv_infinite_ammo 1 into the console to have infinte grenades
  3. enter script_execute nadetraining and script nadeSetup() to enable the script
  4. buy grenades
  5. Press the "nadeSavePos" button (, in my example)
  6. Throw the grenade you want to check out from different angles
  7. Now, go to wherever you want to view it from and throw another. Observe the explosion/flash
  8. Repeat 7, go to 5 for another nade.
Thanks for Reading & Enjoy
I of course appreciate donations and ratings, if this becomes popular I might be able to add more features and write more scripts.

Have fun & Good Luck

@rzy_99: you can find the source in your Steam folders, but it's also here: https://github.com/s-ol/csgo-vscripts/blob/master/nadetraining.nut

I haven't looked at it / tried it in ages, but in the script you can see the entity classnames of the various projectiles, and you can look at examples like https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/CSGO_Vscript_Examples#Turn_decoys_into_nukes to see how to spawn entities.

I couldn't even spawn grenades. Could u pls share some code? Maybe I can dig deeper to find a way to detonate the grenades.

@rzy_99: Back when I created this I couldn't get it to work, I only managed to spawn grenades to pick up, not in the "active" state. There's probably a way though.

Is it possible to create a grenade using vscript instead of throwing it?

I probably sneeked in a typo when editing it, but I'm too lazy to test it again now... updated one on all links above.

Yeah, I tried a different control scheme but that didn't work very well. Thanks for the input, I'm going to put it in the github repo.

I made some changes and added a pause bind to the script a while back to let me throw some nades freely until I get the right angle without having to press save to throw every test nade.
You can update yours if you want http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=nuzjBKbg

@Issvor: tried that, but sadly it doesn't work :/ the smokegrenades laying around after the actual throw disrupt the script and all following nades are stuck in the air when I allow smokegrenades to be thrown.

This is one sick ass script :O Could you make it where it also works with smokes? I can't figure it out myself (never messed with scripts)

yeah, I need to make the script more convenient. I hope I'll find time within the next week to add this and the multinades.
