This guide includes every single cutscene from Arkham Asylum, upscaled, remastered and refined for a true 4K experience.

AI upscaling has come a long way since I first released Asylum 4K in 2020. Recently, I released my Movie Upscale Project[www.nexusmods.com] for The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, where I used new AI techniques combined with dozens of hours of post-editing to create a product that not only upscales the original cutscenes, but improves many of their other shortcomings as well. Applying what I learned from that process, I decided to remaster Asylum 4K.

What other mods should you run with the upscaled cutscenes?

We recommend using the Asylum Reborn HD Texture Pack to get the full Batman: Arkham Asylum Remastered experience. This mod comes with full 4K textures, tweaks to Depth of Field, FOV, Anisotropic filtering and more, along with some really well done Reshade presets.

All parts are required for the complete experience.

Installation
Drag the 'BmGame' folder of each archive into the main folder of your game.
Overwrite existing files.

Neato, just wanted to say Thanks for this and that putting it on Nexus is completely justified. You can't expect some kind strangers to share some phantom amount of money while you can actually have an income for your work. I do hope that many other folks will find this and im surelly going to tell my friends about this if they ever want to replay this masterpiece of a game.

I wonder if it would conflict w some other languages locales that arent included in steam version, russian for example

I have a Paypal that people can donate to. It's linked on Asylum Reborn, City Redux and their respective launchers. But donations are extremely rare and few and far between and not required. Nexusmods gives me a somewhat steady stream of donation points just when people download something. If a 3mb/s download speed cap for end users, which translates into like 1.5 hours of total download time, ends up benefitting me and costs the user nothing but some time that they can spend doing something else, I will always take that trade.

why dont you make yourself one of them then. this kind of work is veeery underpaid in my opinion by getting money only from nexus, some users will definetely wont waste their time, why then we cant atleast throw some money at you directly
