Just finished the entire game on my first playthrough completing 100% quests within 55 hours.

Genre:
Stealth, Beat'em-Up, Quick-Time Events.

+ Fighting & climbing mechanics are addictively epic!
- Story is too short, lacked on developing it further with professional fan-fiction from the Tolkien Society members was a missed opportunity, end boss battle was a terrible 10 second x5 button Quick-time joke!
https://youtu.be/Us_N1WkajsI?t=162
Ending was so bad you can tell that the development team ran out of time and was rushed.
- They could have avoided a Sauron fight (which he would never win in real lore anyways) and just made the most epic battle with the 'Black Hand' boss.
40 hours of Terrible boring identical repetitive rune & stealth fetch quests, and ranking up to max all for NOTHING! That is really disrespectful of a player's time.
- Game was a fun waste of time with an amazing & addicting fighting, climbing, stealth mechanics, graphics and nothing else.
+ There is no way i wouldn't use anything other than a controller for this one, its almost essential to your success in fighting mass mobs & high-ranking Warchiefs.
It felt sooo good via controller though!
+ Strategy is essential to beating Captain mini-bosses.
+ The game's 'Nemesis System' is an incredible concept that could actually evolve into something amazing the gaming industry's future!
- The end boss 'Sauron' has the One Ring of Power that cannot be beat unless he's vs many other powerful foes, even an army of 10,000 couldnt stop him. But you beat him with a 5 button push Quick-time event 1 vs 1, are you kidding me?!? A horrible lazy ending to a player forced to do 50 hours of collect-a-thoning... Why didn't they just make one epic battle vs 'The Black Hand' boss and leave Sauron out of it, as 1 being could never defeat Sauron in combat.

Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5 Stars) Good Game
+ My favorite 'Beat'em-up game i've played to date, the fighting mechanics are amazing!
- You should see the end credits, there must have been over 200 people that contributed to this game, and yet is a perfect example of a massive waste of potential.
Could have been a masterpiece. What a disappointment.
+/- I would reccomend this game because of how much fun is to be had with the addicting fighting, climbing and steal mechanics. Just know you are not really getting much story content, which the game's trailer fools you into thinking.

Genre:
Detective Noir Choose Your Own Adventure, Point & Click, Quick Time Events.

Gameplay:
+ You are the sheriff in Fabletown - a place within 1980's New York, where famous European fairytale characters now live and some having to use short-term lasting glamours to transform themselves from beast-to-human in order to safely integrate in society. Your role is to protect the citizens of Fabletown, but like all societies eventually arise problems. A murder occurs where you the sheriff must solve the case, while going down a rabbithole of plot-twists and turns.
+ Game is inspired from 1930-1940's detective film noir movies.
+ Fantastic voice acting.
- A great storyline from start-to-finsh that unravels into a much bigger plot, filled with clues that finales with such a big plot-twist at the end that even today the gaming community isn't quiet sure which characters were really involved from the start.
+ Characters have such distinct and adorable personalities that it makes the player buy-into the world being 'real' and feeling compelled to progress through the story.
+ Game has a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' player choice options feature, where some of your choices matter, changing the way other characters interact with you, thus changing your ending. Altho some players feel that your decisions don't affect the game enough, a issue brought up by fans with many of the late-developer's games.
+ There is also many Quick Time Events inspired from the classic 1980's arcade game 'Dragon's Lair' where you'd use either your keyboard letter keys and mouse clicks in order to successfully progress before the timer runs out, a quiet enjoyable change of gameplay pace that triggers a 'rushing panic' out of the player.
+ Occasionally there is also some Point & Click features such as walking and discovering clues, but it's just enough to not slow down the game.
- Encountered one bug where at the end of the game all 4 choices were labeled 'This choice is blank' preventing the player to progress. Exiting & reloading resolved the issue.
+ Playtime to completion is a nice balance of 1.5 hours for each of the 5 chapters totaling about 6 hours.

Protip:
Play with subtiles 'On', because you can decipher the ending much much easier.

Difficulty:
- Super easy, although not enough 'choices matter' mechanics built into the game, and it's designed to encourage you to be a pacifist that doesn't necessary fit in a edgy grimy world setting.
- The biggest challenge is trying to figure out the true identity of the main person of interest which the game makes it extremely difficult to piece together, costing a motivated gamer a handful of extra hours scowling around the internet for an answer that ends up being a nobody knows for sure scenario.

Replayablity:
- None.
- One might playthough again because they love the world, art design, voice acting and characters so much, but you're just getting the same story & ending.
- You might feel compelled to playthough the game right after your first time to try to piece together to solve the story of who the main person of interest character really is.

Graphics, Artwork & Sound:
+ Game is based off a comicbook series, and what it's gorgeous videogame's art design is inspired to look like.
+ A fabulous deep, dark 1980's cyberpunk-like synth soundtrack sets the mood of a lost detective in a run-down metropolis.

Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5 Stars) Good Game, Must-have!
- Game loses one big gold star because of not actually revealing the true identity of the main person of interest which turned the game experience from amazing into bitter-sweet. I can understand if the devs did it to get the gaming community discussing the game to create a marketing buzz, where it would later explain & tie up the storyline's loose ends through a sequel, but they never did make a 2nd game. After a long 7 years in 2020 they have now announced a sequel game being made in production, but judging by the trailer, i don't think they going to address this ending's massive cliffhanger. I guess we'll have to wait & see... If they do, i'll update my rating to 4/5 stars, but where i stand today it sits at a 3/5.
- Another star loss is due to the fact that where most of the game is amazing cinematic cut-scenes triggered by your choices, at the end of the day there is very little gameplay for the modern gamer here and not enough 'choices matter' mechanic. Id like to see the sequel raise the bar by having more innovative & interactive gameplay to engage player.
+ An incredible detective story that pulls the player in from the start till the very end, comicbook artwork is absolutely gorgeous & attractive, amazing voice acting, personalities that you adore, a fantastic soundtrack that sets the mood (one that has unfortunately never been officially released), and great ending altho poorly executed which ended up confusing the gamer preventing them to not fully understand what really happened. It's ending is inspired from the 1997 movie 'Unusual Suspects', but where that movie uses character audio flashbacks coupled with visuals, this game's ending fails to include the visuals, making it extremely difficult for the human brain to piece the whole true story together, and even when you think you have figured it out, you are still unsure, and that's really the only disappointment with the game. It's disrespectful to have your paying customer not being able to appreciate your game's ending because it's not fully shared.
+ Game is worth about $4 in today's market, pick it up anywhere around that pricepoint during it's often 75% off sale for your game library.
+ This game is fabulous for it's strengths, was a real pleasure to play where i didn't want it to end, and is highly recommended to purchase & play.

Genre:
FPS Survival Horror Adventure.

Gameplay:
+ In the 1920's a group of political idealists build & form a society in their own vision, underwater in the deep sea, where later on they discover a sea-slug that can produce a liquid that can give a person short-term super powers. The slug was found to produce much more potently by being embedded in children as a host before harvesting. The group secretly cloned little girls known as 'Little Sisters' from birth in order to farm the slug's super power liquid in mass-quantities, only to find out that the human body became highly addicted & drove adult humans to lunacy insanity. The city later becomes plagued with zombie-like lunatics where society falls apart, untreated air-tight seals spring leaks over time all over the city where it begins to slowly flood within. You the protagonist start the game in the early 1950's investigating the situation where the story unfolds as you progress, sprinkled with a few plot-twists.
+ Back story is creatively given to the player in pieces over time by finding audiotapes to playback, which doesn't slowdown gameplay, a feature that other games fail to do.
+ A solid playtime length divided into 8 chapters of 10-20 hours, depending on how much scavenging your playstyle is.
+ Game is a FPS Adventure that is the spiritual successor of 'System Shock 2'.
+ 10 different weapons with 3 different artillery to select from, plus custom 'super-powers' known as 'Plasmids' at any time makes the FPS gameplay really fun!
+ Game is generous and balanced with the amount of ammo you find & can purchase, tapping mouse button to shoot after aiming is recommended to conserve inventory.
- One moment mid-game permanently removes all your precious ammo from your inventory, which is extremely unfair not taking into consideration of how much time a player spent scavenging.
+ The quality graphics & gameplay set a new standard in the gaming industry.
+ Great voice acting, done in mono AM radio effect of the time.
+ Steampunk theme, heavily inspired by the 1927 'Metropolis' movie that drew influence from Art Deco, Bauhaus, Cubist and Futurist innovative & inspiring art designs.
+ Environments change with entering each new chapter, is refreshing.
- Beautiful NPC designs, with a good handful of enemies, but falls short of repetitive due to the game's length.
- Gameplay can be argued too repetitive from start to finish, needed a change of mechanics mid-game to keep it refreshing.
+ Mouse & Keyboard supported as well as game controller, where mouse & keyboard is the recommended method due to ease of access to weapon hotkeys for fast attack combo switching.
+ Game did NOT crash unlike some reviewers have stated, but on 2 occasions out of 10, the game did not save keybind changes when reloading the game. Loads great on Windows10, 2GB NVidia GPU, found only 1 bug.
+ Good looking Main Menu, with a good amount of customizable options.
+ A balanced amount of auto Save Checkpoints throughout the game.

Protips:
+ There are 2 endings, a good ending and a bad. The bad one ends on a uncompleted cliffhanger and negatively, that makes all your playthrough effort feel unsatisfied. The good ending is fantastic, emotional and makes the game feel completed with a feel-good payoff! In order to unlock the good ending, you MUST 'Rescue' every single 'Little Sister'!
+ Change your keybindings 'Crouch' to 'Ctrl', and 'Walk' to 'Shift'.
+ Use the recommended method of mouse & keyboard for ease of quick hotkey combo attacks.
+ Manual Save often to prevent having to boringly redo tasks. F8 to save, F9 to reload.
- A forgotten feature or bug by the devs prevents you from custom order your 'Plasmid' hotkeys, the only found solution was that normally you can have 6 slots max. You need 7 in order to customize the slots.
Go to a Gene Machine, and add the Plasmids in order that you want, but drag & drop them backwards from slot #6 - #1.
+ A few door codelocks spread throughout the game, if you see anything with 4 numbers on it, write the code down to use later.
+ If a safe hack difficulty is gauged the hardest (in red), just use a Hack Tool to instantly open it, there is an abundance throughout the entire game till the end.
+ Your selection & combination of Plasmids & Tonics will be the key to ease your success - choose wisely! (Telekinesis, Electro Bolt, Target Dummy, Static Discharge, Armored Shell, Speedy Hacker, Security Expert, Hacking Expert, Focused Hacker, Prolific Inventor, EVE Link, EVE Saver, Hacker's Delight, Medical Expert).

Difficulty:
+ Game keeps things understandable with simple explanations.
+ Levels are large in size so one could get a bit lost, but the game has a built-in arrow on top of the screen that leads you to the next objective, which was really pleasant and helped progress the storyline preventing navigational burnout.
+ Game is fairly easy to play through, excluding fighting a reoccurring enemy early game called 'Big Daddys' when you are not ranked up yet. You will need to finesse your way to win the first few skirmishes.
- Aiming is not really accurate, giving a large crosshair yet bullets don't always hit target, one can argue it's because you're using 'Steampunk' weapons, but it just made the shooting a bit frustrating for the player while wasting a lot of precious ammo.
+ Being strategic with your attack combos is essential to killing the enemy faster to prevent damage returned to you.
+ Being strategic with which 'Plasmid' super-powers you choose out of your selection is important as some are more effective than others.
- Disappointing end Boss fight, altho epicly fun, it was too easy due to the fact that the game fills you up with all ammo of every kind before the fight, and is easy to dodge & hit, and due to how easy it was to do damage to him being over-powered end-game.

Replayablity:
- Very low.
- Once completed, you might give it one more go since you enjoyed it so much or if you got the bad ending and wanted to achieve the good ending, but in reality most people are burnt-out after completing such a long game. Your time would be better served playing the next game to progress the series.
Altho I can see fans wanting to give it another playthru a few years later.

Graphics, Artwork & Sound:
+ Excellent art direction!
+ Stunningly gorgeous next-gen graphics during the game's 2007 release that still hold up today, but at rare times suffer from a hard to see where you going 'fogginess', which could be argued adds to the creepiness of unexpected scenarios.
+ Superb sound effects makes your brain feel like you're actually physically in that setting.

Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 Stars) Great Game, MUST-HAVE!!
+ For 2007, this game was ahead of it's time in graphics, gameplay, mechanics, physics, setting and design that still all hold up today, making for quiet an enjoyable game!
+ This game has a lot of hype being one of the greatest games ever made, and at 2007 it was, but like all things great in life people and companies try to copy it for their own success, so a lot of the positive mechanics and things about this game might for today's gamer playing it for the first time may feel this game is a bit above average. For best experience, I'd recommend playing the game going into it with no hype or expectations at all, and just play it from start-to-finish going with the flow and enjoying it for what it is, while keeping your mind in the 2007 era.
+ It is a must-have for your game library!!
+ Get the entire series bundle at it's often listed price of 80% off, so you can get the game even cheaper that comes to a final total for this game only at around 85% off. And at $3 for a masterpiece giving you 10-20 hours of entertainment makes this game practically free!

Genre:
Turn-based, RPG Adventure.

Gameplay:
+ Plot is about a citizen named 'Red' within a computer in a Tron-like world that has her male love interest murdered by a political & scientific party that is trying to take control over the world, and change it to their own vision of society. In an act of revenge for her friend's life and act of political defiance, she sets out to over-throw the party leaders.
- Short game & story with only 3 hours playtime to complete, leaving you wanting much more, but does end as a short-story tale.
- Game disappointingly allows you to continue your leveling up by letting you play through the story a 2nd time, which is a filler poor excuse for gameplay.
- Deep lore, but game does not go into detail explaining it to make the user fall in love with the world. Some mundane details are included in notes, which is boring to read and a drag on the game's already low momentum.
- World feels empty void of culture, as there is almost no NPC's to look or interact with.
- Gameplay is extremely slow to start, only near the end does it pick up momentum as the user begins to understand how to use the attack mechanics and use it to their advantage, only to end the game just as the game starts to get really good.
+ Fantastic & original end boss fight!
+/- Game can be played in real-time or turn-based, but enemies attack so fast and do so much damage that the user is forced to play the game by pausing turn-based to prevent death.
+ Stunningly beautiful environments change as you progress to keep the look refreshing and gorgeous all the way to the end.
+ Nicely designed Main Menu, but limited in options.
+/- No manual save feature, only save check-points on the map.
+ Customizable attacks for your numerical hotkeys with customizable attack power-ups is one fun aspect of the gameplay.
+ Excellent narration & voice acting.
+/- Attacks can be done in multiple ways on your mouse & keyboard, or controller, but i found having your left hand on the number hotkeys and moving your character via mouse was the most effective way to play.

Difficulty:
+ Creative use of allowing the player to choose difficulty level by adding 'Limiter' parts to your transistor weapon, making the game much harder but giving you more experience allowing you to level up & accumulate more attack options called 'Functions'.
+ Can be easy at times, and sometimes challenging yet while being fair. Pushing forward slowly to control how many enemies are on the screen at one time is recommended.
- Game does not explain how to use some attack mechanics, expected you to do mini-levels testing out the mechanics for the first time without knowing how to execute the attack strategy.

Replayablity:
- There is really no reason to play it again, even if you appreciate it.
- After you finish the short story game, you can finish off completing the achievements doing the same things over & over which is boring and non-motivating for the player. Takes about 3 playthroughs to do so.

Graphics, Artwork & Sound:
+ A masterpiece in game art design, one of the most beautiful games made in history! If there was an oscar for 'Game Design of the Year', this game would have won it that year!
+ Gorgeous indie cut-scene cinematics!
+ Legendary hand-painted artwork by indie artist 'Jen Zee' who is a slept-on genius!!
+ Fantastic original sound effects & soundtrack that fits the game & mood.

Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5 Stars) Good Game.
+ A beautiful game & nice lil story, but could have been soooo much more! The world, lore, story and gameplay could have been greatly expanded! And because of this, the player might feel a bit bittersweet disappointed once completed due to how short the game is. Personally i would love to see a sequal to the game, raising the bar in terms of gameplay & story.
- Because the development team is so highly brilliantly talented, the user has high expectations of the gameplay needing to match the incredible art design, and because it does not, i felt slightly disappointed, especially how short the gameplay is within such an exciting lore & stunningly beautiful world. This and the absence of seeing any of the world's inhabitants and being able to interact with them if there were any. The development team obviously had a focus to keep things along the lines of the main story, short & sweet, maybe due to budget reasons being an indie company.
+ I wouldn't recommend this game to the casual gamer as there are much more important games to play in gaming history, but i would recommend this game for the hardcore gamer that wants to play every great game within their lifetime so they can experience what this nice little story and what this incredibly talented development team created. It is a must-have for your game library.
+ Get it on a 80% off, $3 sale, Supergiant Games absolutely deserves the support for making this digital art masterpiece! And they are continuously making new indie games every couple of years. This is one special gaming company that deserves every single penny!

Genre:
Point & Click Puzzle Adventure.

Gameplay:
+ Short indie 2013 iPhone game ported fantastically to Steam, that took advantage of iPhone's revolutionary touch control.
+ At first glace you assume it's just a standard iPhone puzzle game, but it's so much more as you unravel it.
+ Play as a 18 year old in 1894 country side Sweden to unfold his tale - and the developer's.
+ Pretty, haunting, eerie creepy music that really sets the mood of the time-piece environment.
One thing i appreciate is that the music changed each time you move on to the next puzzle.
+ Navigate walking by single clicking around, with a helpful 'map' button to aid you along your journey.
+ Playtime 1 hour, speedrun 15 mins, which is okay for this type of indie game as it delivers on an indie experience.
+ Simple story that surprisingly gets really deep mind-bending, in a good way!

Difficulty:
+ Super easy point & click to move around, game is super simple, but the unique clues & puzzles solving will give you a moderate challenge for your brain to figure out.

Protips:
Turn the walking speed to 'Fast' in the settings.
Read everything!
Take screenshots of everything that looks like a clue via Steam/Cellphone.

Replayablity:
+/- One time play-through that leaves an impression on you, which will have you thinking about from time to time in the future. You might do a 2nd play-through within your lifetime down the road for nostalgia sake.

Graphics & Artwork:
+ Pretty indie art design that's impressive for the artist's budget that worked great for the game maker's vision.

Overall Rating:
⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5 Stars) Good Game.
+ The story takes a really surprising turn without giving away a spoiler on the experience, one that really blew me away and didn't see coming, was very pleasantly surprised!
+ Just when you think the game is over, there is a secret ending to continue the game after the credits.
It was worth it for a chilling "woah" ending that actually completes it! Really great story, the story of the game alone is great modern lore.
+ Recommended for the nice lil creative indie experience and Victorian Swedish lore.
+ Get it on a $1 sale, the indie dev absolutely deserves the support for making this lil hidden gem.

+ 10 player battle royale, based on the card battling genre but instead uses animated chess-like pieces on a board.
+ Super good game concept and extreemly addicting!!!
+ Currently as writing this, 120,000 players online playing, searching for a 10 player match takes 3 seconds to launch the match!
+ Valve has a massive winner on their hands - but needs a lot more evolution as most games newly created do.
- Has a few balancing issues with group bonuses that become unbeatable late game even though you also have a god-tier army.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 Stars) Great Game, MUST-HAVE!!
Highly recommended!
I'll do a full pros & cons review in the future after more playthrough.
*Edit: 63 hours in 5 days, holy fk is this game addicting and fun! <3
*Update: After 2 weeks, competition is getting much harder, as people are using guides now instead of using their brains...lol
Before I was playing 4 hours a day, now i only play 1 game per day as im burnt-out from competition using a build that is has too OP of a group bonus, keep loosing this way is taking away the fun for me as it's unbalanced in this area, which as a new game is fine, im sure devs will adjust in time with updates.
The first 2 weeks of the game's release i was winning 70% of my games, today im lucky to win 1/10.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5 Stars) Decent Game.
+Very Well Developed.
-Extreemly short.
+Game is a free promo chapter of a side storyline of the upcoming game 'Life Is Strange 2'.
+Slow, innocent fun with strong emotional themes.
+You can rush playing it from start to finish for your 1st playthru and not worry about missing anything.
+Playtime around 30 mins.
+Wonderful child-like fantasizing.
+Leaves you wanting more as storyline abruptly finishes on a 'woah' moment.
+Enjoyable, free, but not a 'Must-play' game.
+I encourage the developer to make more of this lovely design style.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5 Stars) Great Game, MUST-HAVE!!

One of my favorite indie games of all-time!
Next-gen 1980's 'Fighting Fantasy' gamebooks vibe! <3
I adore everything about this game, altho a couple of the cards are way too hard and is unfair & unbalanced for the player ('Moonlight' and the last 'Minotaur' cards).
+ What makes the game brilliant is that when you beat cards you get tokens that you open once you finish the level-round. These tokens have enclosed new cards in them that you can use to add to both your Event deck and your Inventory deck. This makes the player not feel so bad about loosing the round and get excited to jump back in and play again making you slightly more powerful then the last attempt.
+ Being strategic about which cards you include in both of your decks is crucial to your success, so strategy game lovers will also enjoy this game.
+ Enemy attack pattern memorization is critical to winning battles, but the patterns are simple unlike other games such as 'DarkSouls'.
Finished on XBOne & Steam, will do a full review once the DLC's are completed on Steam.

Рецензія на CS:GO
- They made the game F2P that enabled hackers to make as many free accounts as they want to hack on, dividing their player-base, and destroying the game completely.
- They raised the game pricetag from $5 CND to $20 CND, preventing new people buying it which plateaus the playerbase and it slowly dwindles away...
- They released a new mode called 'Prime' where you lock your mobile phone number onto the account and you can play with other 'Prime' players, problem is, they still mix the regular mode with it, so you still playing with hackers.
- They are more harsh on players that get kicked and give them strict cool-down timer penalties that last up to 1 week ban. Because players are aware of this, they troll and abuse the system by kicking the solo player on their team that they don't like. So not only do they get bullied off the team, they also get punished for others bullying them with long cool-downs. Valve encourages this as players wanting to play are forced to BUY new accounts in order to continue to play allowing Valve to double-dip in profits.
- If you report someone, your account also gets negatively affected by lowering your 'behavior score' and 'Trust Factor' score where you'll now be paired with toxic players.
- Devs offered very little to evolve the game and give it more content, allowing their competition in the game's genre to grow, much like what they did to their TF2 game.
- If you dont play on a bi-weekly basis, you loose your hard-earned rank and go back to 'Silver 1' and its brutally hard to go up the ranks today with their new system, which means you're stuck on Silver tier for a very very long time.
- Now that you have a low 'Trust Factor' score from all of this, the system KEEPS you in Silver 1 tier forever!
- They allow people to have multiple accounts, massive 'smurfing' on lower tires make teams completely unbalanced giving you a loss, basically it's ranked ladder manipulation. Valve should only allow one game per processor serial number, but they make too much money selling multiple copies per user to be motivated to have the integrity to do that.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5 Stars) Decent game
- Because of the above issues, game is not really fun anymore, and i wouldn't recommend getting into the game today. If they fixed the issues, star rating would be higher.
+ I sold back 95% of all my high-tier skins after writing this review for $750 and i don't regret it, Valve doesn't deserve any money for having game-breaking systems while neglecting their CSGO & TF2 games.

***REVIEW IS IN CONSTRUCTION DURING PLAYTHRU***

100 hours in, game is fantastic!!
Think Dungeons & Dragons + Pillars of Eternity/Divinity Original Sin 2
Mixed with Game of Thrones Music + Batman Dark Knight music.

I think this game is stronger than Diablo 3, but Diablo's inventory management system is superior.
My only complaint about this F2P game is that you get so much inventory non stop that you run out of space quickly early game. The only way to increase your inventory stash is to buy more 'Stash Tabs'. At $25 CND for 200 microtransaction points, it took me $75 CND total to buy all the available tabs even at a 33% off sale! Im very disapointed of the developers for their outrageous price abuse for customers trying to suport their game. Ive never wasted, yes i feel wasted so much money on a video game before, and it ruined my experiece with the game. Im now playing it with an added feeling of resentment.
Regardless, so far while in early game it's fantastic and a must-play! Extreamly addicting!! And just the game my current mood was looking for.
There is actually a lot of love put into the stories.
This game really deserves more media publicity as i feel this game is slept-on. It's strange cause the game isn't changing the industry, but its a just a good fu<king game! 100% get it and start playing this league while it's still up before it changes on June 7th, 2019.

*New Edit:

Game is F2P, but so much loot you are constantly & excitingly picking it to store it in case you want to work with it/use it in the future.
The game makes it's money by selling 'Stash Tabs'. A stash tab is an inventory page for you to add items on to it - and there is only so much space per tab. Which means you will be constantly selling everything to a vendor in order to save space.
So basically you can play the game, but you will only be able to keep your main build on you, plus a few more items in your stash, then all your valuables such as currency and other specials and rare crafting resources.
You can rush through the game's 'League' (campaign) and then quit, or keep selling 95% of your inventory and just keep upgrading just your main gear on your body, because the way the game is designed, there is no way in hell you can play the game effectively after the campaign is done without having a TON of stash tabs - thats the way the devs designed it to make money.
To expand your tabs a lil more, it will cost you about $20 for 200 coins, which gets you about 5-7 tabs.
I wanted to exp the game at it's fullest and hf collecting ♥♥♥♥ so i can use the items for years to come anytime i feel like using them for whatever reason.
So, I just spent $75 on buying all the tabs...lol I own 2000 games on steam + 100% DLC, and ive never pissed away money like that before...
BUT, lets learn what the game is about and what content you get with the game.

So, once every 4 months, on the 1st Friday, they release a campaign, they call their campaign's 'Leagues'. This current league is called 'Synthesis'.
Its HUGE and consists of 10 acts, and full of quality content, jam-packed with quests, and original music for each area - none are the same.
Voice acting solid, boss battles original & fun!
Every area is completely different looking art, detailed and pretty with gorgeous particle effects.
Once the league is over in 4 months, you get to keep your character, but loose all inventory. The inventory found is for only that particular league to keep things balanced.
There are many quests in the game that give you achievements & tasks in order to not only qualify to beat the campaign, but to also get loot crate boxes for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! And thats a big deal because the skins are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EXPENSIVE! $20 per skin using coins and up to $500 for the most amazing ones, or $4 in coins for opening one loot box. So getting a bunch of free ones while you're actually having fun doing a campaign is a treat!

Now in regular mode, everything is permanent, your inventory for life, including perma-death! One regular mode makes you just loose the gear that was on your body, where the other regular mode gives your entire character & inventory perma-death!

So you get all this free content: Campaigns, Normal League in Hard-mode (where permadeath of your items is a thing), Free Loot Crate drops if you do the campaigns, online multiplayer, co-op multiplayer, global chat, PVP Skirmish to see how your builds hold up vs other players, and so many more modes that i havent even learnt about yet.

The prices for the skins is comically insane, and the lootbox system is not only broken, unfair but a disrespectful ripoff by the developers!!! At $4 per crate you will get multiple duplicate items, and will be stuck with them for life! You cannot sell them or trade them onto another person's account, unlike CSGO/TF2 and many other game lootbox items you are able to either trade or resell them on the Steam Market to try to recoup some of that gambling loss. Its a very disgusting business practice where this company takes a ton of money from the players & fans, and gives NOTHING back in return - only duplicates that you cannot use in any way. A company should have integrity and respect for their player base instead of ripping people off! As an older person that feels angry & emotionally hurt from the disappointment of being taken advantage of about giving away $50 cash for NOTHING in return, i can't imagine how a younger person would feel about being scammed this way. This company should be ashamed of it self for this practice.
With that being said, absolutely DO NOT spend a single time on their lootboxes, it's absolutely not worth it!

One thing i like about the game is that you can see all

Something to keep in mind is this company is now partly owned by 'Tencent' - the same company that owns 'Epic' games, the same company that is aggressively trying to destroy Steam in the digital game selling market so that one day they may make millions off of lootboxes from their games, games that they are now acquiring through dirty bribe tactics where they will offer developers so much money they can't say 'no' to in order to sell their game exclusively to Epic. Its not only a monopoly non-consumer friendly business practice, but the owner of Tencent is worth over 50 BILLION dollars and any loss from the bribes is actually a legal tax write-off, so irl he's not even loosing a single dime from the bribes loss each year.

This game is criminally slept-on, and i can't stop playing! <3

Will continue to update this review as i play through.

Tips:
+ Switch the rebinds for your map and inventory keys. (make Inventory your Tab key, make map Tilda key)
