For all L4D/2 Source-engine modders whether they are scripters, model importers, texture artists, animators, particle specialists, mappers, or those that simply would like to learn more about Left 4 Dead Source-engine Modding.

Modders are welcome to share their findings, collab with others, make tutorials, or answer/ask questions on how to mod. So don't be shy and feel free to explore and share. ^-^

If you have problems with a mod of any kind, join the Discord server if you can, because you will more likely get a response there than in the Discussions section or the Steam chat. A couple of modders are usually available to help you out.

We modders do not take requests, but we can usually help you in your modding adventures. Note that the Discord server does have a #requests_n_commisions channel specifically for matching up people on both sides of a request or commision. A response is not guaranteed, but it is worth a shot.

Custom Melee Tutorial: now out!

Behold V1 of how to to make a melee weapon of your very own.

Unlike my other tutorials I did what I could and stepped up the quaility and simplification of the tutorial and even taught myself Blender during the process of this tutorial all in the sake for begginers to have some choices.
(Huge thanks for Great Sir Pajama for the blender support)

And for the visual learners I added some quick made video recaps of the tutorial in action; from getting the tools to polishing the the package.

If you haven't noticed your group servers have stopped showing up in l4d2. It's not your servers problem. Reloaded both of mine and they can be seen in HLSW and in FTP but not in l4d2. Apparently the last update broke that function. I guess we wait for an update / fix now from steam. Just trying to save you some troubleshooting. Peace.
