Apparently the animations can be skipped by switching out one weapon for another.
(2) c_model hands are always nice.
(3) Configure the Gluon Gun so that projected beams exhibit some degree of swaying. Currently beam projections remain perfectly still when fired, contrary to the hold animation.
(4) Add a reticle overlay when looking down the scope of the Crossbow.
(5) Configure Crossbow darts so that they can be retrieved after being fired.
(6) Remove delay phenomenon that occurs when attempting to look away from a Crossbow's scope after firing.
Make it so that Npc´s/Player´s killed by the Gluon gun have the same effect as when you kill something with the combines ball. ( Like in game )
Iff possible make it so that the hive hand bees target Hostile Npc´s.
And perhaps ( iff you want to this is just an opinion ) Make it so the weapons can get ammo from multiple sources ( like smg rounds from half life 2 etc ). Becouse in an Black Mesa RP Scenario it makes it kinda hard to have ammo for everybody since it only feeds that kind of ammo and big boxes of infinite ammo would not work. ( But this is minor )
And finnaly, It would be nice to have the Black Mesa Health/Armor machines as an entity.
Hope you can fix the issues and consider the opinions i presented. Have a good day.
Completely agree with this guy, especially on the c_model hands where you can see your own playermodel's hands.
Personally I noticed that the crowbar doesn't make an impact on anything. It doesn't leave decals of dents, cracks, or impact wounds on enemies, nor does it make the sound effect that goes with them. It only plays the crowbar strike sound, not the impact sound. Borrowing code from the Half Life 2 crowbar would take care of this.
The Hivehand is a pretty cool weapon, but it keeps giving me these console errors:
"Trying to remove server entity on client!"
"Changing collision rules within a callback is likely to cause crashes!"
Firing the Hivehand repeatedly causes my game to lag because it keeps spamming these console errors.
Also, I believe there's a Laser Tripmine weapon in Black Mesa, which would be great to have.
v_hands as in the Viewmodel hands of the current playermodel.
