Game Freeze on "Begin your Journey"

Whenever I try to start a game it freezes as soon as I press the begin your journey button. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hey, try starting the mod on it's own, and tell me if the problem still persists.

still having the same problem, winter is coming to civ was the only mod I loaded

Can you tell me what dlc you have available? The mod is made for Brave New World 🌎 so that might be the problem you're having. Besides that, trying the game on lower settings is the only other thing I can think of.

im running all DLC except for the map packs, and I tried running it with just Brave New World and I ran into the same problem
