This Vocalizer mod is Return to Main Menu
i trying disable ion vocalizer, i can play normally and not Happening.

but I trying enable the vocalizer mod, The Map is Loading and suddenly return to the menu page on Every Official Maps and Other Custom Maps.

I Don't Know what Happened?

Do you have any error message when map fails to load? Is there any error messages in console?

You should verify game files first. Then disable other add-ons (except vocalizer) and enable them one by one until you find which one breaks map loading. Write here which add-on is that and I'll see what can be done.

So here's how it is... The game can precache 20,000 sounds. Without any add-ons it already over 19,000.

When unused sounds are added to regular talker, they are precached automatically. But when they are used via VScript, they need to be explicitly precached (which my vocalizer does) or you'll have console error messages about late sound precache when sounds are used.

More details... Modified talker you mentioned adds 802 new sounds, so there is over 19,870 sounds, which is near limit of 20,000. My vocalizer precaches 362 unused sounds (some of them are already precached by mentioned modified talker). But together the number goes over 20,000 sounds and that's where game breaks and won't load any map.

Unfortunately, there's no good solution for this situation except not using both add-ons together.

I've tested this modified talker with older, non-VScript version of my vocalizer and the soundscache limit is still reached. So, even if I haven't changed anything, the situation would be the same. Modified talker simply adds too much new sounds...

Not every talker add-on adds over 800 unused sounds at once, so feel free to use them.
