Why not make it a courier?
I would like it more if it was a courier and not limited as a pet for tinker.

We allready have a tinker cur, "tinkbot".
and if they do make this a thing it doesnt mean it has to be tinker exclusive.
the only companion we have for now ,"frondillo" is equipable on some heroes, not just one, and available for some that make no sense (I.E. LC), so it could be shared between the "keen" heroes or something like that.

Clockwork having this wouldn't be too out of the way and some Sniper sets basically make him look like Tinker and Clockwork, so sharing between the Keen heroes wouldn't be that big of a stretch at all.
