SOMA Model and Texture Extraction
I know that this might be a complicated process but I couldn't find anything on the internet about this. I wanted to know how to extract the models and their matching textures and even animations out of the HPL Engine. I wanted to create an original, clear point of reference for people to learn how to do this to create their own Addons/Mods for games, Garry's Mod or otherwise, while learning how to do it myself. I hope to create an Omnitool Addon that would create a new security system based on SOMA. I can code, but I need the models and textures to do this. Does anyone have any idea how to make this work? How to port models and textures from the HPL 3 Engine to the Source Engine, and consequently Garry's Mod? So far, all I know is that the models used are contained in Collada (.dae) files. The textures, however are proving to be harder to port. I would really apriciate any help anyone can give me with this.

try looking for converting amnisea models? its a more popular game, and i bet that they use the same engine.
