First make sure you have Multi-Track Station Enabler activated. You can find the download in the mod description (right panel).

Activate the train line tool. Keep shift pressed. To select a platform the easiest way, move your cursor above the ends of the station tracks (where the track crossings appear when connected to normal tracks). Now move your cursor a bit around until you have the stop-dot on the right track.
