Stat Ideas
My stat ideas:
+Leaves a gas cloud that lasts 4 seconds
which has a base damage of 10 but lights a target on "Fire" for 6 seconds,
+Airblasted projectiles get covered in fumes
that means if an Airblasted projectile hits an opponent,they get "Burned" which lasts 6 seconds,
+Fumes affect pyros
pyros are covered for 3 seconds,and the poison does 1 damage per tick
-Afterburn lasts 40% shorter
-The weapon deals 50% less damage to other pyros
and has 50% less max ammo
what do you think about this?What are your ideas?

Oh,and the gas cloud can be removed by a Flamethrower/Backburner/Degreaser Airblast,so if you are flanking with an enemy fumigator pyro blocking flank routes with the cloud,hopefully you've flanked with a pyro who knows that the right click exists

I figured that this weapon would not have after-burn, but instead would be able to create a toxic cloud to suffocate your enemies in.

Yeah,that's basically the afterburn of the weapon,just with a special effect,and pyros are effected

I think it'd be cool if it left the poision clod and everthing, but instead of having a compressed air attack the smoke would just smother the flame, it'd be too OP with that and compressed air. The other thing would be to make the cloud actually blind the target(s) but not fully, just cloudy vision like jarate

make it so airblast will spark the gas and do explosive damage

valve would have to rework how enemies react to the gas cloud because saying "fire" would break logic. Hows about we make it to where it brings a new playstyle for the pyro? -100% afterburn but the more you hit the player the damage increases. We can have -15% damage but +2 damage the more consecutive hits you have and no random crits. Also no blast back.

Just a thought, but i dont think it should be equipable alongside the gaspasser. Thats kinda overpowered if you think about it. Having the ability to make a gas cloud with your flame thrower AND then throwing the gas passer to make it last even longer. Just seems kinda unfair

maybe the smoke cloud forms only when a circle shape is formed.
