(Spoilers) Perks
Geralt does have following perks:
  • Swordmaster
    While he wearing his sword, he gains more damage which is based on his sanity. At sanity level from 70% to 100% he will get from x1.1 to x1.4 more damage respectively. Also when Geralt is insain he will get x1.2 more damage. Every sword wearing gives him slight walk speed bonus (10%).

  • Monster Hunter
    Geralt slayed many monster. Each battle gave him experience, that's why he gets only half of sanity degeneration from monsters. Triple damage of silver sword if he fight against monsters. Also he get sanity (0.5) on each hit with silver sword. Triple damage of steel sword against non monsters. Usually this job and travelling from one place to another makes him pretty starve (x1.1 more hunger lose)

  • Differs from normal people
    Every mutated Witcher gets more strength (x1.1 more damage with any weapon. This doesn't stack with Swordmaster damage) and heightened senses. Heightened sences let him hear everything, that's why he is so sensitive to every sound. Because of that he can't normally rest and think at night (x1.15 more sanity drain at night).
