First thing of when I saw this mod was how I wanted to start in Nandong in Cathay, the Vampire Counts there and do a Cathayan Vampire invasion. Would be cool for a Jade blooded Vampire regardless.

This mod is great fun, but a minor request/suggestion? Would you be willing to add in a skill point dumps? (Ones that offer nothing) for those playing with skill point increase?

@Big Baby Skesus You can do that! Use the starting settlement mod. Lets' you choose where you want to start at the beginning of the game.

There are submods that add skillpoint dumps to modded lords already

Huh, I noticed that neither the new lord nor the honor guard she summons have the Unbreakable tag or trait, but they are unbreakable. Not even sure how you managed that, but is that intended?

As for a suggestion, I figured you didn't make the Bloody Rose troops undead because you didn't want them to crumble, but is it right that they're intended to be Vampires? Would you consider adding tech options that give them traits such as The Hunger to let them regen from melee combat the same as other vampires?

No, the ones intended to be undead have the undead traits the others are supposed to be human yet, i don't need to consider techs doing that cause it will be the same as the WH2 mod i just haven't ported them over yet.

Gotcha. Only other thing I can think to mention is that the defensive buildings for the smaller settlements (up to tier 3 ones) are both cheaper and offer better units than their vanilla counterparts, you may want to raise the price of them for balance.

I love the idea of a vamp faction built around vampires and their thralls rather than an eclectic mix of undead monstrosities. The Vampirates keep things all in a unified theme that works well. The Counts do not. Its like they took a bunch of different scary things and tossed them in a pot and said here, make this work. They never felt all that much like a real faction to me. This really changes that.

Couple of ideas:

1: Make a second city type that lets you switch to scarlet empire cities that focus more on SE units for garrisons than normal VC units.
1a: As part of this, maybe have some peasant-type units to replace skeletons for low tier defense/field troops since SE troops are better than average and skeletons are boring. Zombies are zombies and they work fine (though it would be awesome to have special zombies for them too).

2: Something to replace the Vargheists as air shock troops. Maybe winged vampires based on the Valkia skeleton/anims? Could make an interesting additional 'mount' for SE Vampire lords/heroes too. If you were really dedicated you might even be able to do a transformation like the Cathay LLs so they could take to the air as they needed.

3: Blood dragons. Vampire dragons. Not rotting zombie dragons. Those are lame. Vampire dragons. Would make a great mount for The Scarlet Empress!

Macho, can you give me a quick lore rundown on both the Blood Legion and Bloody Roses? I know that neither are canon but I'd like to understand your vision for how they fit into the world of Warhammer vampires.

Also, the Bloody Roses are mortals until upgraded to vampires on the tech tree, right? In your WH2 version of this mod they had a hybrid trait. I was wondering if that was still the case.

The reason I ask is that the Bloody Roses figure prominently in a story I'm writing, and I'd like to get the details right!

I don't know if allowing a 2nd type of city to be build is even possible to have as an option since every settlement only has 1 type that's allowed in vanilla, it's definetely something i would like to add if possible. I certainly don't mind adding more buildings for more flavour to replace the default VC ones.
The other 2 units i had in mind to replace vargheists were a variation of mounted pegasus knight alike, and new dragons is something i thought about as well just need to find the time to kitbash a new model togheter and retexture it.

Yes that would still be the case i just didn't had time to implement the tech in WH3 since there's more stuff i want to add compared to the WH2 and making techs now before everything is in would make adjusting them later a pain.
This is probably a late reply anyway, but they are just a setting unrelated to warhammer i imagined and ported into total war warhammer cause i could and wanted to play as their armies, best way to fit them in i guess is outside world invaders that come to conquer the warhammer world, rest of details i'm just too peepo shy to share XD

Well, is it okay if I PM you so that you can tell me how you see them fitting into the vampire lore?

I know that they're not official lore, of course- I just see the Bloody Roses being Lahmia's mortal army, and the Blood Legion being something that Vlad establishes in Sylvania.

I want to make a submod that gives the human units (swordmen helbadir etc.) immnunity to non-vampirce region. I think it is kinda pointless for living units to get dmg in the normal regions of the empire but I think like the top tier units (that r undead) should keep that for blancing
Would it be oky for you ?

This is my favorite mod for warhammer but i wanted to make a private mod using your models because i dont know how to do it myself and i really like them. would you allow me to use them aslong as i dont upload it anywhere?

What I'd love to see if you get around to it is an artillery piece for the faction (similar to the Dragon Legion Bolt Thrower but maybe instead of fire it does magical(dark) attacks) and a Generic Lord option to lead/heal the armies and lastly a similar hero(caster) to be able to heal the whole army roster with the blood transfusion spell since it is currently only available to Empress Jahra.
