The fort doesnt seem to appear, I traveld to the location. Cleared fort greymoor etc wandered around, found brittleshin pass, ran back to the guard tower that gets destroyed by the first dragon.

Am i supposed to progress into the story line as I literally got out of helgen and ran to here?

Never mind, apperently restarting my game a couple times fixed it.

this works with original Skyrim not later versions.
