Changes to Psionics Overhaul V3
- The Psion tree has been given a wedgie. Check this link to see it.[docs.google.com] Notably, each rank other than the starting one has a full selection of 4 abilities. Note that you will need Mitzruti's Perk Pack, Iridar's More Psi Abilities and the Stormrider Class (even if you don't intend to use the class itself) in order for there to be no missing abilities.

- Psions start with Insanity now instead of Soulfire.

- In addition to Templars, Stormriders and Wardens also have 100% chance of being Psions.

- In addition to Reapers and Skirmishers, Crashers and Keepers (LWOTC version) are 35% likely to be Psions. All other classes have a 20% chance (unchanged from original mod).

- Classes from MEC Troopers For LWOTC, Playable XCOM 2 Aliens For LWOTC, Buildable Units and Shiv Mod are not eligible to be Psions. Note: if a soldier with The Gift becomes a MEC Trooper, they will still have The Gift post-augmentation. The Psionics Overhaul V3 mod currently does not have any way to handle soldiers that change from one non-Rookie class to another. If you decide to put a MEC Trooper in the Psion tube, don't complain to me about bugs or balance issues.

- No additional abilities can be acquired after maxing out your Psion rank, down from 6. (Which means they will end with a total of 8 Psi abilities if you train them to the max, down from 14. These numbers include their starting ability.)

- Psions gain 45 Psi after their initial training (down from 50) and get 4 extra Psi per rank (down from 6 to 14 extra per rank).

- Max base Psi is 200, up from 150. Note that you are very unlikely to actually reach this number if you leave the configs as they are.

- Abilities can only be learned from up to 1 rank higher than the Psion's actual rank (down from 2).

- Soldiers must reach GSGT rank in order to be able to max out their Psion rank (was previously SSGT).

- Templars cannot learn the Psion's version of Pillar. Other than that, there are no restrictions on who can learn which ability. If you're not using my LWOTC version of the Stormrider class, note that your Stormriders may pick up abilities that they already can learn through rank ups, so consider restricting those if that's the case.

- The Psi specializations have names now: Chaos, Destruction, Enchantment, and Manipulation.

- Psions can equip the Psionic Reaper (Advent Warlock) and Psi Gatling Rifle (Armored Viper). (Note that the latter is from a mod that is not currently part of Mod Jam.)

- Soulfire is now a prerequisite ability for Soul Steal.

Hi! Can you tell me how to remove the required perks for the Psi-Operative? For example, learning VoidRift requires SoulSteal. For learn Stasis, Fuze is required. Can this be turned off somehow? Thank you very much in advance!!!

Hey, for what I can see the Psion tree and the Psi Lab are broken in my campaign. I have all the required mods, I don't know what to do. At first it was fine, I had a nice tree with the 4 lines each with 4 ranks, then it suddenly became a mess with abilities all over the place with some in ranks and lines they shouldn't be, some even disappearing entirely like the first Solace ability.

Does that ring a bell for anyone? Should I provide something to get this analysed and fixed?

How do psions work vis-a-vis faceless detection, since they're not their own class anymore? Do they still get bonuses over regular soldiers?
