how did you make it able to change opacity?

whenever i make my own visualizer, i never understand how to change opacity of it. i tried changing it from opacity slider, masks or opacity affect but nothing works. can you tell me how you managed to do it? thanks

It's not transparency, it's layers. Overlay a picture with transparency on top of the visualizer
