Undead Zone - Part 1 of 4
Kyle's Review of "Undead Zone" - 4/5
Reasonably good at everything. 4/5 stars.

Undead Zone is a campaign where almost every element is, at minimum, above average. The level design is pretty good, the environments are fairly detailed and memorable, and it's not too difficult. I would've liked to see more useful supplies -- Tier 1 weapons are still common as late as Map 4 of 5 -- but it certainly makes the campaign feel unique, like you're struggling to survive.

However, there are two things that bug me. Undead Zone's biggest issue is the AI navigation. Bots on both "teams" will regularly get stuck, physically and/or mentally. I actually died in Map 4 because the bots jammed and refused to shoot a Tank that was right in front of them. Additionally, the custom voice lines were broken for me, but the author was wise enough to make the campaign fully playable without them. You can even turn them off manually in-game.

In all, this is a rock solid campaign that's worth a run during your next game night with 3 buddies.
